Easton Ghost Double Barrel 13.5" ASA Slowpitch Bat SP18GH - 34/27

Just got the 27oz. Took some swings off the tee, I like the feel of this bat. The pop is pretty good but I was hitting soft dead clinchers. I’ll see how well is performs this coming season.

Bat has a 1.5" crack in the barrel at about 300 hits. No abuse or misuse. Sounds very different than the Miken, Monsta, and Di Marini bats we use. It was a nice consistent bat for contact hitters but lacked the pop of the Miken and Monsta for the big swingers. Now I get to return it...bummer.

The bat is great has a large sweet spot it takes about 50 hits to get it hot but after that th bat is a monster so it’s a great buy and you will not regret it !

Good feel, better than average sweet spot, great sound on impact. I could recommend this bat.

The bat itself hits very well. Well balanced, and feels good when contact is made. The sound however is what drops this rating. It has a very strange sound due to the double barrel that sounds way off from a standard bat. If you can get used to it, then by all means. The bat was thrown out for me in all of me leagues because of the sound as the umpires all said, “it’s cracked,” even though it isn’t. I submitted a warranty claim to Easton and never heard back about this. At this point this $300 bat is only good for batting practice.
