Thermostatic Shower Mixer System Set (+5 Style Options) Valve Riser Slide Rail Kit Chrome

Got this shower fitted along with a brand new bathroom and boiler system 3 years ago. The plumber told me it was pretty easy to install and very straightforward, however for the first 2 years the temperature just never got hot, only luke warm. The plumber was called multiple times to investigate and told me that everything else was fine, the thermostatic bar got boiling hot but by the time the water went up the pipe and out the head it was hardly warm. He told me maybe there was some sort of regulator.Good news, third year of it being installed and used, it finally gets hot! Woohoo.The pressure is decent from the rain shower, and more pressure comes from the other head as expected.Metal is still looking good and cleans well, not really any sign of rusting or tarnishing.

I'll admit i wasn't expecting the quality to be that great considering the price (and it's chrome and plastic) but i was wrong.The shower mixer unit and pipes are chrome and the rest is chrome coloured plastic, but the plastic is sturdy and well-finished.It was easy for me (a female 😉) to put together and install.Positives for the seller- item was securely packed, fast delivery and invoice included with contact information- Recommended.

Works very well. The temperature safety button didn't seem to work at first but after a few uses it seems to be OK. Very solidly made.

Good product. It comes complete with the two fixing brackets, the same as those offered under the advert at extra cost.Value for money.

I stumbled across Better Bathrooms whilst recovering over the shock of the prices some people are charging for these products, as you can imagine with the price I found with Better Bathrooms that to say I was sceptical, nervous and trying to find a catch somewhere but all I can say is what fantastic value for money, it arrived promptly and in perfect condition, no catch, no gimmicks, just excellent good old fashioned service and a more than value for money product.

Bar mixer good but the diverter and riser wall clamp is poor. Had to get clamp and faulty diverter replaced which Better Bathrooms did very quickly. Replacement wall bracket much better but diverter still looks a weak point.

Shower head isn’t very well made, it’s a bit of thin plastic. Will be changing the head so it does the job but not a 5 star product.

The shower works well no problems fitting no leaks for the money a very good deal. Only issue I had was the packaging which the postman was surprised how badly it was packed, also all the boxes were ripped looking like it had been returned, then resent out.
