Solid, Quality Table Top!
Table is very nice looking--I love the color of the top. It's a nice charcoal gray--not the green you find on most ping pong tops. It looks great in my red & black game room. (Go Dawgs!) This table top would be at home in very fancy, elegant game rooms. It fits well on my older pool table which is 52" wide and 92" long. The table top itself is exactly 5' wide and 9' long, so there's some overhang all the way around, but it doesn't look odd. I will probably end up making some sort of a brace to support the very middle of the table top. There is no sagging now, but I'm afraid it's bound to sag a little if left on the pool table long-term. It's a pretty wide span between the rails and the table top is pretty heavy.Speaking of heavy, the table is heavier than I expected. That's good and bad. The weight and thickness provide a great playing surface. The table is solid and seems to play very true at all spots on the table. However, I really struggle to install it by myself (I've done it a couple times solo, but it's not easy). It really is a 2-person job to place and/or remove the table top.I did have the net and posts in a box within the bigger box. Really wasn't very hard to find for me, but then again I knew what to expect based on the other reviews. Set up of the net is a little different than others I've seen, but it's not difficult and has worked well for me.Delivery was easy--the delivery guy brought the box off his truck and took it all the way to my garage. From there, I used my handtruck to move it to my basement. Again, it's heavy, but very do-able even solo with a handtruck. If you don't have a handtruck, you definitely need 2 people to move the box.I had a couple spots of some kind of residue on the playing surface. It looked like dried glue or epoxy. I emailed the company right away with pictures to make them aware of how it was received. They were very responsive and opened a ticket right away to address it. In the end, I was able to easily remove it with a wet rag (it dissolved easily) so I didn't have to pursue the customer service claim, but it's nice to know they were responsive and seemingly willing to correct if I couldn't remove it or if removing it damaged my playing surface. It would be awesome if the company made some kind of a rolling storage rack to store the top when not in use. I'm considering trying to make something like that, as right now I just have to lean the tops against a wall. With 4 kids, I worry that a top will get knocked over and hurt one of them or the top. A nice, compact, secure, mobile storage rack would be a great accessory to have.All-in-all, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product for anyone with a pool table who also wants a ping pong table but doesn't have the room for both. Because converting back and forth isn't extremely easy (although not too bad), if you have the room for both, I would opt for a stand-alone ping pong table. If you're in the market for a conversion top as I was, you can't go wrong with this one.

Great! Solid, well built, inexpensive!
Very well constructed, solid. The net is simple and easy to install. Very happy and surprised with the quality of this selection, especially given it’s one of the most budget friendly table top converters. We are using it on our Air Hockey table, and it fits perfectly. The only critique I might have isn’t of the table but of the picture showing a guy EASILY carrying one side himself. I tried moving it myself, had to take it out of the packaging and it was still a bit unwieldy to say the least, it comes in two parts, (two quadrants are hinged). But the weight is not a negative in and of itself. It’s part of its sturdiness. Still, the table is easy enough to convert with two people. Much easier. We are very happy to have made this choice. Converting our air hockey table into an Air Hockey/Ping Pong/and gigantic gaming table (with the addition of a giant vinyl gaming mat).

Absolutely Perfect & Most Affordable
I had this topper in my cart for months waiting to see if the price would drop at all as well as waiting to fit it into my budget. It’s unbelievable how affordable this was for how solid this table is!This table topper fit perfectly on our pool table, was super easy to set up, had plenty of pads for underneath which also seem to prevent it from sliding when bumped & helped me level it, the blocks that come in the box (DON’T THROW THEM OUT) to level the center worked just right, and the net fits and stays latched with no issues. If this is what you’re in the market for, this is the one.

Affordable, compact ping pong table topper
We bought this because it was the only ping pong table top that we could find that folded into quadrants, not just halves. Living in a small apartment, it would be very difficult to stash two 5'x4.5' table top halves. which Joola and other companies do make. Those those units would be easier to set up and give a slightly better playing experience, we needed something that could fit into a closet or under the sofa when not in use. When our table top finally arrived (more on that later), we spent some time trying to figure out the best way to use it. Though we'd done extensive measuring of our living space before ordering, seeing it in person and trying to balance it on our dining table still took some doing. Our dining table, when extended, is probably 3' wide and 6' long. The company recommends a table at least 4' x 7', to be fair, but we figured we would give it a try with what we have. After experimenting with different spacers to keep the table top (and metal hinges!) off the surface of our dining table, we discovered that our table does work, especially since the net attachment clamps the two halves of the table together, but the edge of the table top extends further off the edge of the dining table than I'd like. (The instructions refer only to a pool table, which would be a much easier setup than what we have.) Ultimately, I think we are going to buy folding sawhorses and set them up underneath the table top so we don't have to move our dining table back and forth to our living room every time we play.Playing experience: overall, perfectly fine. As other reviewers have noted, the crack in the middle does influence the bounce of the ball when it happens to land there, but we found ourselves quickly adjusting to that and being able to play those balls. The table seems less bouncy than traditional ping pong tables, but we found ourselves adjusting to that quickly as well. A few days in, it seems pretty good.We haven't finalized our setup yet, so it's hard to say how long it will take to set it up, take it down, and store it. Because of the size of the pieces (unavoidable if you want a full size ping pong table) and the hinge in the middle, it is definitely unwieldy for one person to set up, especially if you're putting it on something that scratches easily. If and when we get our sawhorses, I may update this review.Durability: we're only a few days in, so it's hard to say. There was a small piece of the outer covering chipping when we got it. Given that this table top is likely to be moved and slid and opened and closed much more than a regular fold-down ping pong table, I'm sure it will start showing wear sooner than a typical table.Delivery process: disappointing. I don't know if this is the fault of Amazon, the company, the busyness of Prime Day (this was NOT a Prime Day deal, but I happen to have ordered then), or what, but when I ordered it on a Monday from Amazon because it said delivery would be on a Wednesday. The delivery time quickly slipped to Friday, then Friday came and went. It eventually was delivered the Friday after that, nearly two weeks after I'd ordered it. Normally, this wouldn't have been a problem, but I'd specifically ordered it from Amazon because of a family member visiting from out of town who rarely visits, and because of the serious shipping delays, it arrived long after his departure. Again, it's impossible to know where the fault for the delay lies, but under the circumstances, it made me wish I'd looked elsewhere. Conclusion: this table top seems like the only game in town for someone looking for the most compact folding full-size option. It takes some thinking to get it set up optimally, but it does seem to deliver good value for money given the reasonable price. Just make sure you order it long in advance.
