Is not a skirt it's a kilt!
This kilt was actually a great find. So many of the kilts I have seen and purchased online have been made of thin material and poorly made. Not this one. It is made of hefty material and well stitched. It's not wool, but if it were it would probably be very expensive. It still kind of feels like wool, and is even a little itchy, but it's not bad. It is a more "modern" kilt design with pockets but I like the pockets. Some purists might disagree but this is very nice evolution of the kilt. Overall it's a great kilt and I will be buying more in other tartan / designs. I definitely recommend this kilt. Just be aware if you are new to kilts that they should be worn around the belly button line and do not use your pant size or you will be disappointed with the sizing. Just measure around your belly button line and use this info to determine the kilt size.

Bought directly from seller's website
Brice at UT Kilts is the most helpful and nice person you could hope to do business with, not to mention they offer REAL WOOL kilts at amazingly affordable prices, and they are exceptional quality. I ordered 2 premium 8 yard wool kilts, and ended up exchanging them 3 standard 5 yard kilts. The process was simple, and Brice communicates through email almost always the same day. While they do have a smaller selection of tartans available on their website than some places, Brice has told me he can pretty much get any tartan available for special order, so if they don't have what you're looking for, be sure to ask before you go elsewhere. Also, their Business style utility kilts are unique and look like a traditional kilt with internal pockets as opposed to the bulky cargo pockets of typical utility kilts. The special order options are extremely affordable and have a good selection. I HIGHLY recommend this business.

Durable and sturdy while still remaining stylish
Initially I felt this kilt was going to be too fragile to wear around while I did various chores on my farm. Turns out the fabric is super tough and difficult to harm. The fabric is pretty scratchy like you'd get from a raw wool but that's the tradeoff for how strong and durable it is.The pleats did start to "bacon" after a few washes, but it's nothing an iron can't handle. The pockets are placed well and I can throw tools and such in them as I do with my traditional overalls. I do wear a belt with this kilt and that also gives me more options to carry gear (like a machete or other belt based tools).Overall I decided to buy more kilts from UT Kilts but I went with the "Ultimate" level which has some added features that the standard doesn't come with. The folks at UT Kilts are fantastic, care about their product quality and want the best customer experience possible. You really can't go wrong with this kilt and it will last you a very long time.

Nicer utility kilt
Haven't worn the kilt yet. The waist buckles are a bit on the cheap side; they had to be filed to get the metal burrs off, and they're just cheap buckles. The snaps seem to be ok. No complaints with the pockets. The kilt seems to be sewn well. We've washed on gentle cycle twice in cool water with limited detergent, and hung to dry. Light/warm with steam iron on the lower pleats. The kilt was/is stiff; the hemmed area of the pleats tend to flare out a bit (hence the wash and iron). Kilt is true to size, material held up, and no shrinkage. Not sure if it's just the way the kilt was hemmed, or if it's fabric treatment, or if it just needs to be broken in....but definitely does not hang like a quality wool kilt. And therefore for the price, it's a utility kilt. May update this post after wearing a couple times.

I LOVE my Kilt
I am a Kilt Convert, I've never owned or worn one, before, but of all the kilts I've ever worn, this one has to be the most well-designed. It has a couple side (cargo) pockets - perfect size for your overly large cell phone (and maybe some snacks too). Not only does it fit like a dream, but it also feels like you're wearing cozy clouds; who knew kilts could be so comfortable? I wound up wearing it the first time for 1/2 the day doing chores and working on cars....I didn't want to take it off!Honestly, after experiencing this kilt, I'm convinced that we need to make them a part of our everyday wardrobe. Imagine showing up to a job interview or a wedding in a sharp-looking kilt instead of stuffy slacks....I've yet to wear it in the summer, but i can imagine how wonderful the breeze feels....

New Style for Me
I’m American but I’ve got some rich Scottish heritage, so I figured what the heck, get my family tartan and try it out.I do not regret it. This kilt is easy to put on/fasten/remove, the pockets are super convenient and fit an iphone 13 pro max, so very spacious. It’s a very comfortable kilt - I would recommend it! Gonna be a new style for me, especially outdoors.Didn’t have an issue for measurements after looking up some videos on it… just do your research, double check your measurements, and you’ll be fine. Theres a little room to adjust the sizing with some buttons.

Viking, Striking and Damn Fine!
My Husband was extremely happy to get this kilt for Christmas!!! He was not expecting it at all, yet he spoke about getting one someday and as his wifey, I love to listen to clues throughout the year to make his day extra fun and special. My man is 6'4 and wears 34/34 Jeans, I first purchased size 32 on accident and meant to order 34, he still tried it on and determined sizing it up to 38 would be perfect since the belt adjusters were on the side. It was perfection and he LOVES IT, as you can see ;} So I hope this review helps because not only the quality is fantastic but the fit, color and texture is AWESOME so now off to Scotland we will plan!
