Bjork Maja Wood Open Back Leather Clogs

I am a true 6.5 in shoe. I am neither narrow footed nor wide footed. I ordered an open box (love open box deals) in size 6.5 and received a size 38. I believe I usually wear a 37 in European sizes; nonetheless, without socks there is slight bit of wiggle room and with socks , 💯 perfection. These shoes (albeit wooden soled) are very comfortable. I own another pair of these shoes and look forward to affording another pair.

I grew up wearing wooden clogs and have been looking for these for quite some time. I LOVE these clogs. I ordered a size 10 and they are true to size. The color is as described and I can’t wait to wear them !!

These clogs are great, wide and comfy. Pair in brown: five stars.Additional review: I ordered a second pair (this time in red) but I received a different product. The brown Maja Bjork clogs (made in Poland) are beautifully shaped, wide enough, good craftsmanship, the label under the heel is made of leather. I was so happy with them, that I immediately ordered another pair but in red. The red pair is narrower and differently shaped, not as comfy and well done as the brown pair. See my pics. The red pair has a plastic sticker on the heel (not a leather label) that says made in Europe (no specification of the country). However, it seems like these were manufactured by a different manufacturer than the brown model or a differently shaped mold was used to make the leather top. The instep part of the red clogs is higher and straight, whereas the brown ones have a nice, curve shaped instep. This is not cool, as it is supposed to be exactly the same model, ordered from the same company, just different color. So, the Maja Bjork red clogs that arrived do not match the photo of the advertised model. One of the red clogs also had a misshaped, wrinkled tip (toe area) that is very obvious. I have to return the red pair. I wish there was a way to make sure that when I order these clogs, I get the same model featured on the photograph, because I would love to get the red clogs as advertised (that particular shape/design with the leather heel sticker, made in Poland). These are the most comfortable and attractive clogs.I have worn Danskos clogs at work for many years and find them comfortable too but these clogs you can actually wear with a nice outfit and look stylish. Leave it to the Swedes to make the perfect clogs!

The clogs are super cute! They are definitely old skool style as far as the wood sole and the feel of walking on clogs. The pair I got is a small flower pattern and it's pretty. I didn't see that it would be shiny leather but it was. I'm assuming the leather has a wrap of some kind over if that has the pattern on it. However, I thought they were a bit sloppy in my feet and I ordered 5.5-6 and I normally wear a 6. The length was fine the width was very loose for me. Considering the fit I returned them and might have considered keeping them except for the fact that they are stapled and not stitched made the shiny wrap leather appear like cheap plastic and I'm thinking they could be a little higher quality for the price. Stitching always looks much better than staples or even decorative tacks would have made them look more quality made.

Fit is great, beautifully made, staples are even , leather looks of very good quality , color rich, lightweight, footbed shaped nicely(not too aggressive, but comfortable and supportive in correct places) comfortable straight out of box. Fit nicely with or without socks. Brought 41 according to company suggestion for size 10. I have a wide, thick foot and short toes. Measure exactly 9 1/2 wide at shoe store. Wear 40 wide in Dansko professional closed back clogs and 40 in Dansko Sonja open back clog. Have a 39 wide in Dansko XP - it is a tad short, but doable once broken in. These are true to size in length per the brand size chart and definitely cut to fit a wider foot. If your foot is more on the narrow width, I think maybe a size down from chart suggestion. I ordered Vollsjo, they looked very nice and were fairly inexpensive, but ran too narrow for me in size 40 and hurt to walk in. I was afraid they’d hurt even in larger size so returned. Company was excellent to deal with. These look the best of any I’ve ordered, not clunky or heavy at all, and look good on my foot. Very pleased with quality and price.! Definitely ordering more colors. I am hard to fit, teach middle school all day standing constantly. These are highly recommended!

Lovely wooden clog

I was so excited to get these and still really like them. They are cute, and look very well made. I personally love clogs and wedge heels. Unfortunately wearing them around the house for two days, all day to see how they feel I have returned them. The top part, the leather is hard and hurt the top of my foot with each step. If I walked like a robot and didn't have to bend my foot to walk it would be fine. Also, after only a few hours on the first day the leather inside where my toe pressed it makes a loud squeaking sound, you'd hear me coming a block away, so that was annoying. Had it not been for those two issues I would have loved wearing them. Clogs are the perfect easy shoe to wear as long as you're lucky enough to find a great fit and comfort. If these don't hurt your feet I am happy for you because I wish they'd worked out for me.
