Great tool
JUTA B50 Battery Powered Diagnostic Tool Compatible for BMW/Mini/RR for 130+ models Works on certain models pre 2021. Great full sys diagnostic tool. Engine, Transmission, ABS, SAS, TPMS, Airbag, BMS, DPF, EPS, EPB, EVAP, Body System etc. Great for reading and clearing pesky trouble codes after repairs. It has a small 2.8 inch TFT LCD colour screen for easy reading. Suitable for non pro at adecent price. See their list of vehicle coverage and battery registration for more info. CONCLUSION: A great tool to have if you're an owner of a compatible vehicle or pro. Shop around for deals. Recommended

Fault messages on screen indicate it does not connect to ECU
Purchased this for a BMW Z4, on running a quick test it identified a power steering fault but when running the individual system test to clear the fault it says “cannot connect to the ecu” but it’s connected! It doesn’t work properly and I’m not wasting any more time with it, it’s rubbish and is in the process of a return. Don’t waste your money! It’s not even worth one star!

Useful scanner but don't expect it to do all features on all models.
This BMW / Mini specific OBD scanner is nicely made, with a decent quality cable and plug. Software is simple to navigate and codes are easily read and cleared. Info it provides is a bit minimal compared to more comprehensive OBD tools, and although the tool has loads of features to select from not every feature works on every car model. I think if it's viewed as a general engine code reader and reset tool, but with the bonus that you may get extended functionality over a generic reader on some models then this is a useful addition to the toolbox. If you work from that assumption you shouldn't be too disappointed if you pick it up and the feature to register your battery or something else is greyed out for your model.

Money saver.
This is a great money saving device as it tells me before going to the garage what can possibly be wrong with my car therefore when speaking to the mechanic I can be on point with the information and this way the mechanic will know that I have some clue of what I'm talking about thus saving me money on potentially inflated bills but also because they will not have to repeat the same diagnosis procedure again and charge me for it. The diagnostic tool is very good at reading a lot of different error codes with the most commonly ones needing resetting being the servicing and oil, both of which this device has no issues performing. It is easy to navigate, with the necessary steps for the reading being self-explanatory and the display is clear and easy to read. It supports 11 different languages and one of the features which I find very important is that it can connect to a PC and constantly be updated as there is new vehicle data being updated in the system and having free lifetime software upgrades is amazing. Simply to use an efficient tool which I definitely recommend.

Did not do ABS bleeding on my car
It’s probably quite a good scanner, but in my case it did not have the feature that was needed, i.e. getting the air out of the ABS module. Which is the only way of doing it as normal leading does not work I sent it back.

Great device for DIY car maintenance
This is a handy little device for reading fault codes or resetting service timers on my BMW. It is definitely more convenient having an all in one device like this, rather than having a mobile app with an OBD adaptor. The screen is bright enough to easily see and the device feels rugged and has a good length of cable. Resetting oil/service timers was very easy, as was reading some live data from the car. Scanning for trouble codes was on the slow side however and it did freeze at one stage requiring a reset. However once it had finished it was easy to decipher what errors were as you get a full description on the screen. A decent device for the price!

Handy scanner for all DIY car enthusiasts.
This little scanner is like a 'superhero' in a pocket-sized package. No need a mechanic degree as this tool reads trouble codes, resets services and even registers new batteries all with a easy-to-use interface. I never used devices like this one before so I appreciate that its very intuitive to use. Here's the quick rundown: - it reads and clears trouble codes across all your car's systems, from engine to airbags (ABS, SRS, etc, etc). So no more blinking lights and head-scratching. It dives beyond just the engine, tackling functions like oil resets, ABS bleeding, and even electronic throttle sensor resets. Basically, it keeps your bm happy (or mini). It also simplifies battery registration, ensuring your car recognizes its new power source - but I reckon some older models might need a trip to the mechanic anyway. And as mentioned earlier - the interface is straightforward, and also the price is friendly on your wallet - so if you're a DIY car enthusiast or just want to understand what's going on under the hood or bonnet - this is just the tool. Thanks.

Good looking product. OBD connection very stiff, had to force into car socket. Only connected intermittently to ECU. Scanned some functions okay. Would not scan one section of SRS. Would not clear airbag light.

Lt.
