SINGER 20U109 Complete Industrial Commercial-Grade Zigzag and Straight-Stitch Sewing Machine

My wife has used this machine to sew several different fabics and even to sew a few patches on a leather and jacket , it works perfect and she couldn't be happier. She had an old singer that was used in a sewing factory, made in 1949, and is really happy with the sewing stitch speed being so much faster on this one. Has sewn every stitch perfect and is really simple to set up and use.Had issues with shipping at trucking co. but was cleared up in one call to customer service at Amazon. I will start off by saying that I was very happy with the quickness of my purchase delivery. The sewing machine came as promised, fully assembled and all the accessories were included. I enjoy using this sewing machine and using all the features. I am very satisfied with my purchase, thank you very much.

Most of these machines come with at least a 1/2 HP motor or a 3/4 HP motor. The machine sold here on Amazon (unknown to me when I bought it and almost a year later)...ONLY includes a motor that is 1/3 HP and sews 1725 RPM's. I should have read the fine print MUCH CLOSER before I decided to purchase this one because of the so called "free shipping".It will NOT sew through or even come close to sewing through a medium to thick fabric and when it does, it does not do a good job.I could have gotten a better motor for the same price from another retailer. Should have done my homework before making this purchase :(

My new Singer Industrial machine arrived within 10 days of the order. Delivery was done by CEVA.However, a few things that were detailed with the order were missing! i.e. the COMPLETE packet of accessoriesdid not arrive with the machine! The word COMPLETE means that is what will be needed to actually use themachine as the manufacturer would plan! Amazon folks are wonderful, and are going to replace this machinewith another that hopefully includes all the accessories! When that arrives, then I can rate this as 5 stars!Awesome pricing and service kudos to AMAZON.COM!

Obviously made in China, end to end. Took quite a bit of tweaking to get it working correctly, and the instructions are pretty much worthless (written and illustrated by someone in China).

We've been using this for a couple years, now and this is a great machine. Don't hesitate for a moment!
