Great option for fluoride-free families, has helped my sensitive teeth dramatically
This is a great non-fluoride toothpaste. Our whole family switched to nano hydroxyapatite instead of fluoride pastes, we have had great dental visits and no regrets. No one has had a cavity since switching 2 years ago, but three of the four of us didnโt have cavities to begin with. I would say that my own sensitivity to cold (something Iโve had for 40 years) has decreased significantly since using this daily. This paste is far more effective for sensitivity than high fluoride options have been for me. My two teenage boys both love this toothpaste. My teeth feel clean. I wouldnโt say the toothpaste whitens better than any other paste does. My mouth feels fresh after brushing. I like the idea of remineralizing tooth surfaces but I donโt know how I would quantify that. The flavors are all good, I would rank them as follows: lemon lavender, mint, cinnamon mint, cardamom, ginger (donโt get it if you donโt LOVE ginger). Cardamom is really nice but I could see getting tired of it. Ginger is kinda weird. My boys love the lemon lavender the best. The flavors can be intense but in a natural, not artificial way. Itโs not too sweet at all like some pastes can be. This toothpaste is absolutely worth the higher price point. I feel good about my family using it.

Lovely
Not one of the best flavors out there. I'm not used to charcoal. The flavor and texture is a bit off for me, makes me gag every-time but it is One of my favorite toothpastes after transition from sensodyne & proenamel. I never thought I would be able to go to a different toothpaste with my teeth being insanely sensitive. After doing some research and a family never recommend the brand boka I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you that my teeth have never felt better with the sensitivity and cleanness. It freshened your breather well and all the ingredients are so clean and good. I love that I can even give it to my toddler and not worry about her swallowing to much. Give this toothpaste a go!!!! The flavors are amazing. We have definitely tried almost all, we do end up going back to this one and the whitening one.

Good but not great
This tooth paste tastes very good but I'm not sure it has enough grit to keep teeth clean. My kids have to brush at least 3 times a day to keep their teeth white and not yellow. I help them brush at least once a day and we have had good check ups while using Boka

Love it !
I ordered Boka Fluoride-Free Toothpaste because I wanted a natural alternative without fluoride. It has a pleasant, mild mint flavor that isnโt overpowering, though I have to say it has a slight taste that reminds me of a banana peel kind of unique but not unpleasant. The toothpaste has a smooth texture and cleans well without being harsh or drying. After using it for a few weeks, Iโve noticed my teeth feel fresh and my gums arenโt irritated at all. Itโs a great option if youโre looking for a fluoride-free toothpaste that still gives you a clean, fresh mouth. Iโm happy with this product and plan to keep using it.

Kid and mom and dental professional approves. P.S get the floss too.
My toddler loves this toothpaste. He gets so excited when he sees me load up his toothbrush for the evening. I like that it is fluoride free so I donโt have to worry about him eating it. Because he will, because he is 16 months old. I love that it still has the remineralizing component (anti-cavity, strong enamel) of the nano-hydroxyapatite. As a dental hygienist (and mom) this is important to me. Personallyโฆ the vanilla cardamom is not my favorite flavor. I wanted to try out the limited edition and I like cardamom (just not in toothpaste apparently) However, my son loves it! Boka has lots of different flavors Iโm sure we will try over time. Iโm sure I will find one I like better. P.S Boka floss is amazing. I recommend it to many of my patients, and I use it at home.

Torn About Whether to Keep Using
I bought the Vanilla Cardamon flavor, because I'm allergic to mint, and it makes my mouth swell. It tastes nice. The "flavor" doesn't last a long time, so you don't necessarily get that fresh breath feeling. The toothpaste works fine. There seems to be some controversy over whether Nano Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste really protects teeth as well as fluoride, but I know some people swear by it. Obviously, there is also lot of controversy regarding fluoride and whether it's healthy, so I get why this might be a better option for some. I've been using it for about a year, and I got a fairly bad cavity recently, but of course, this is just anecdotal evidence. I'm not sure whether I'll keep using it or not.

Great for sensitive teeth
If you have sensitive teeth, these are great. I had prescription toothpaste and couldnโt get it anymore and picked this up. Itโs helped tremendously. No different than normal toothpaste consistency-wise but the flavors are the best.

Truly works and worth every penny.
This is a game changer. All other toothpastes should pack up and close shop. I donโt know what I Was using before, but it was not toothpaste. This is the only toothpaste you should be using.

Refunded after only one use. Here's why...
TL;DR: I tried Boka for one night due to enamel erosion, refunded it because of a lack of clean mouthfeel and their refusal to disclose their nano-hydroxyapatite %, and will instead use PreviDent 5000 as my main toothpaste. Seen a drastic improvement in sensitivity dabbing Boka paste nightly to the affected erosion area. I used this for one night only and refunded it the next day. For the record, the enamel on the upper left side of my mouth is more or less almost completely eroded. My dentist confirmed this and mentioned I may need a dentin sealing. Any chocolate liquor (think Lindor, turtles) that hits that side of my mouth sends me into unbearable pain. I feel air passing on cold days, and even at a pause, I feel that part of my mouth is sticking out like a sore thumb. So I've resorted to chewing completely with the right side of my mouth and avoiding sweets entirely. I bought this toothpaste with some skepticism because they don't advertise their Nano Hydroxyapatite %, but I also bought it with some hope because they are also one of the few brands on here that have NANO Hydroxyapatite and not just Hydroxyapatite. If you want enamel sealing and repair, you need Nano Hydroxyapatite to penetrate the enamel and seal it. Here are the negatives with this product that I found. Complete lack of a clean mouthfeel: This lacks any sort of the 'whole clean mouth feel' that you get with regular toothpaste. It doesn't eliminate morning breath unless you use it in conjunction with mouthwash. It's a very tough transition if you're used to regular toothpaste. Gross/lack of texture: When you're brushing, it's that feeling you get whenever you don't use enough toothpaste and are basically just brushing your teeth with the brush. It's a gross feeling. Flavours: The charcoal and yuzu flavours are present but very muted. Nano Hydroxyapatite % marketing: This is probably my biggest gripe with this product/brand. They absolutely refuse to share the % of Nano Hydroxyapatite they use in this toothpaste. It's completely bizarre. Their customer service claims it's proprietary, which is why they can't share it. Instead, they shared some other strengths of the product with me. If you pay attention to their marketing, they talk about the sun and the moon, but not the % of Nano-Hydroxyapatite in the toothpaste. Why this is important is that for Nano Hydroxyapatite to be effective in a toothpaste, it has be at a minimum 10% concentration. That's what the research shows. If I'm paying $20 (1.5x the cost of a regular toothpaste) for what is essentially toothpaste, I'd like to know if it's effective or not. Marketing/business 101 states that you focus on your product's strengths instead of its shortcomings. So this leads me to believe that because Boka refuses to outright share any details about their Nano Hydroxyapatite % in their toothpastes, the concentration has to surely be well under the 10% minimum effective concentration required. I would even hazard a guess that their concentration is well below 5% (maybe around 2-3%) because even at 5%, that's a passable amount that can be shared in their marketing. The fact that they don't share the % and instead focus on other strengths confirms my theory. If you could market it, you would share it as a selling point. Here are the positives with this product that I found. Their customer service got back to me the same day, promptly. They provided additional details in my request by shifting the focus away from the Nano Hydroxyapatite % and instead showcasing the strengths of the product. That was appreciated. I've dabbed the toothpaste directly to my eroded enamel, and it already seems to have provided a seal. Given that it's early, I'm not entirely sure if it's actually worked or if it's just a placebo effect from reading the marketing and positive reviews. I still plan on using this toothpaste, but only to dab small amounts directly to my enamel. I will be purchasing Colgate PreviDent 5000 ppm Booster Plus to use as my main toothpaste, and Boka as my dab directly toothpaste. Time will tell if either of these toothpastes will work.

Okay
Non foaming. Strictly for enamel protection. Don't feel it justifies cost. Best for night time use only.

A must try item
After few weeks of using it, I can see a difference. Based on my own observation I could notice my teeth being at least two shades whiter. Definitely I will be re-purchasing it.
