Improves the taste of coffee
Our well tap water is very hard...about 300 TDS parts per million. We use a Zero water filter to remove all the TDS (total dissolved solids), and add this back in to add the appropriate amount of minerals to make perfect coffee. I have to say...it definitely does improve the coffee taste. As an add on comment, if you don't want to buy a Zero water filter, just buy a gallon of distilled water and add a packet of this and you'll have the same end result. I decided carrying two heavy gallon jugs of distilled water home every week wasn't the route I wanted to go.

makes a difference, coffee tastes better, Toronto
I tried the Dark Roast profile with distilled water and dark roast coffee in a Philips espresso machine. Coffee tastes better compared to brewing with Toronto tap water or bottled water. Also tastes better than a competitors' product I've tired. Mixes easily, powder comes out easily and is not clumped. Only down side is the high cost, almost double compared to another brand( the one that comes in two sachets).

Better coffee
I live on the big island of Hawaii and our water is catchment. It’s rainwater, and I kept noticing my coffee really had no taste. And people were telling me I needed to get something for the water. I cannot believe the difference this made in my morning coffee. Thank you very much.

I hate that it works!
I saw this on Shark Tank and love my strong black coffee, so I thought it was worth a try. I assumed it wouldn’t make much of a difference and it would just be a one-time purchase. But it really does make the coffee richer and more robust but without bitterness. I’m just using good quality ground dark roast coffee, which I prefer to all the newer roasts in vogue these days, but it still made a huge difference. The drawbacks are of course the cost and the hassle and waste of buying bottles of distilled water to add these minerals into. I’ll have to test it on regular tap water as well as on the Artesian spring water we get delivered in large cooler jugs. Relying on gallon jugs of distilled water seems a poor model to go on, where this business is depending on our first also buying another product, and one that’s incredibly wasteful, considering we’ll go through 2 gallon jugs a week. All that said, I’m really enjoying my coffee. So another drawback is that I’m extra spoiled now and won’t enjoy hotel or restaurant coffee when away from home.

Without a Doubt
I use a Chemex, and i drink it black. I recently added an under counter RO system, and while the water tastes great, it makes bad coffee. This brings out the flavor and adds smoothness. Spendy, but so is everything else these days. Will buy again. 4 stars due to cost.
