Brought this for the wife to replace the same type and brand she got years ago. Very well made and does the job really well, battery lasts a long time, so can be used when travelling. Accessories allows and length hair to be dealt with easily.

Smooth working, easy use, fine Braun quality but comes with European plug in UK.

Unhappy as no where in the description does it mention that it’s not a UK plug. I come to use it and I can’t because I don’t have an adapter for this price you should be offered a UK plug

I have never used an epilator before, mainly because I try to avoid pain and have been told these hurt. When the opportunity came up to review this though I figured there was no better time to try it and see for myself whether it really would revolutionise de-haring myself. Also, Braun is, in my mind a trusted brand.The epilator arrived well packaged with everything individually wrapped. I was a little surprised that it had a two-pin plug as I had to find an adaptor to charge it & in all honesty for the price being asked I kind of expected it to be USB charged, having said that I guess many people have two-pin sockets in their bathroom.Anyway, the epilator came with additional bits. There is an exfoliation brush, a massage roller cap, a shaver/ trimmer, a cleaning brush & a pouch to put them all in.I carefully read all the instructions/ tips within the guide. On the suggestion of another reviewer, I exfoliated first, took a warm bath to open my pores and set about using it on the lowest speed. It didn't hurt as such but stung a little when using but I guess seeing as you are pulling hairs out of yourself it’s not going to go unnoticed.Once I have go used to it though, I will move to a higher speed.This way of controlling unwanted hair is not for everyone and I am still not entirely sure it is for me but this product by Braun certainly delivered results and came with everything I needed to ensure I got the job done effectively. It was as comfortable as can be to use.Tip for those, like me who are new to using, have some soothing balm to hand to calm your legs after use.

Good product in terms of quality and battery life. Easy to hold and use. A little more painful when used on dry skin. Less painful on damp skin but performance is not as great. It only removes 50% of the hair. May be because the tweezers can't catch hair when damp as they are sticked to skin. Also does not work well on fine hair on arms.Rather effective on thick hair on legs. And way too painful for under arms.

I had a Braun Silk-épil corded epilator that was +20 years old and finally broke earlier this year. I did some research on the new options on the market and ended up with a cordless one with an extra head which I haven't used yet and I don't really know if it's really useful, but what it does still works perfectly is the epilator.

Daughter loves it. Great value for money 💰
