Ok so firstly this is a legitimate review from a UK resident and definitely not paid. I've hit 50 and not that fit and have typical mum pooch. I'm 5" 3" and about 9 stone 10. Small waist but big fat apron. Lovely. The point being it's always difficult to guess size with cheap foreign items. The XL fits on the bum but the design is to give you a celebrity figure shall we say. So the stretchy waist part is like a control pant. So I'm say 12/14 waist and 16 gut so luckily this for quite well, if a tad tight. I bought for under jeans and they work well. Now, importantly, I went for these as they do not go down to thigh because in the past I've had cheap stuff and it cuts your thighs and too small. These don't and have no vpl and can't see that dreaded gusset line at the back in jeans, which I think is worse than vpl. However, because they are essentially a foam pad like a padded bra, if you bend over not in clothes, the foam leaves a gap between end of bum cheek and thigh as they are not welded to you. So if in a skirt or dress, in theory they might stick out away from your body if you bend over. I imagine to avoid this you would need a pair with thigh coverage as well. So, that said, they are high quality, well made, yes a bit overpriced but arguably same price as a bra. But as I write this, free returns. One black one nude. I'm normally very fussy and basically send stuff back if not right but in this case as long as you manage your expectations - you have a flat bum and need some help - I think they are excellent. The alternative is lots of exercise or surgery or fillers. Try the pants. I also think there are people out there who for health reasons, physical limitations etc who would benefit psychologically from a small boost. They are snug, comfortable and discreet. I'd recommend wearing them with a panty liner so you don't have to keep washing them and could wear them a couple of times. So I'm a person who wears a bra several times before washing in the machine no patience for handwashing stuff, but if you prefer to handwash and have the patience then they would obviously last longer. I wouldn't wear them all day everyday but there is no reason why your couldn't they are well made. Anyway hope this is helpful. If in doubt and you're a smaller size, go larger. But if you are a straight up and down figure these might not be for you. The waist will be narrow or fit but the foam butt would sit too far away from your body or be too wide, or that would be fine in jeans but not a skirt. You'll just have to try them. The padding is I'm guessing maybe 2cm deep, not monster butt deep. You could probably wear two pairs at once if you want a celebrity butt, the top part of fine enough. But I like them and think definitely worth a go.

I wanted these knickers for a wedding, and while they arrived on time, and look great, they are totally undersized! I am fuming because I can’t find a way to return them. Can someone from this company please contact me. I am not prepared to lose £20 for a product that is obviously wrongly sized!! This is a matter for the trades description people!!!! Advice wanted please!!!

very odd fit under the bum - there's no elastic or other stretch, and the foam padding hangs out from the flesh. Might be OK under tight jeans though
