This is the gold standard 4K TV
Inky blacks, bright whites with good peak brightness, perfect viewing angles (the description was not kidding about that), fantastic HDR performance, good input/output, very nice included remote control, and good screen size options, although one more smaller size around 42" would give an option for smaller spaces. This is a no-brainer for anyone who has a good UHD Blu-ray player and library of 4K movies. Worth every penny!

I’d certainly buy one again, given the opportunity!
Now that I’ve had this tv for 6 months, I can say I really like it!Lots of adjustable features visually, and very good connectivity with Bluetooth and other devices!I think it’s plenty bright, amazing for gaming and it’s hard to fault! The only thing I’d like to see is a slightly more intuitive interface?!An update came out recently that seemed to work on this a bit, and I noticed some livability improvements, which any owner would appreciate.I think as this matures it’s going to be posh!Lots of visual feature adjustments (cinema, personal settings etc) for power management and keeping the health of your oled display.Clean visuals, great saturation of colors! This thing is a ripper and worth every cent!I’m hearing the G5 is even brighter, but if it is, you will probably turn it down even more than you sometimes do with this G4!It’s not an issue!Although there are slight improvements to the G5?The G4 should make anyone happy!!All though not perfect, it’s pretty close!Don’t hesitate!

Wowww What a tv!!
First time owning an oled tv and holy moly what a way to start. The colors are sooo gorgeous on this tv and the speakers actually pack a bit of punch, and while I’m not an audiophile or anything these speakers are really nice. But let’s get back to the tv, it’s super fast and once again the colors are absolutely GORGEOUSSSS and the brightness is amazing too even while my window is open. Bought it as “like new” and there’s not a single fingerprint on this tv and got like 200 off. Definitely would buy again and I can’t recommend this tv enough.

RUN LIKE THE WIND MY FRIENDS!
WARNING TO ALL PEOPLE CONSIDERING THIS TV OR BUYING ANYTHING FROM LG! This tv is crap, but even worse is the customer service! If I were you I would RUN LIKE THE WIND! If I could give this 0 or negative stars, I would!I purchased this tv in April, it sat in the box in it's Styrofoam cacoon until I paid for it to be professionally mounted. First time turning it on, power issues! The tv just randomly shuts off without warning after varying amount of time. Could be 5 mins, could be 2 hours. Tried everything LG said to fix it with no luck. Finally get a repair guy out and he tells me that not only is the mother board fried which is why the power is malfunctioning, the panel screen is damaged even though there is no damage you can see with your naked eye both with the tv off or on, and the picture is fine.So what does LG say? So sorry for your luck but the warranty is void because the panel is damaged. It doesn't matter there's other things malfunctioning too like the tv's brain, the mother board. Oh and BTW, it's your fault for not realizing it fresh out of the box. REALLY? For me not realizing there's a cracked screen which I can't see with my naked eye? The only way the tv repair guy found it was by flipping it face down on its screen, opening up the back to see the innards and hooking up some sort of light machine. Then he could see a few little pixel things that were "cracked" because light looked different through them. So this is why its my fault.Spent countless minutes on the phone with LG and had two repair visits over four months since delivery for them to say your screwed. I spent extra fro Amazon for special delivery for them to bring it on the house and more for it to be mounted.I have purchased three Vizios in the past, paid a fraction of what this piece costs with not one issue. In fact they both still work fine! I will never again purchase anything LG touches!

Fantastic TV, Beautiful picture with a few software quirks
First off, I love TV and am extremely happy with the TV's overall setup and installation. It was easy to integrate with my new soundbar (LG), is slick, and works easily with an Atmos sound configuration. The built-in sound was surprisingly good even without the sound bar I had purchased because my experience with newer ultra-thin TVs has been that the sound quality was lacking, but not with this TV the integrated speakers are quite good. That being said, the one quirk I have is with the smart TV, specifically Chromecast, primarily from YouTube, but from other sources as well, I get extremely inconsistent discovery by devices where the LG TV will not show as available to Chromecast. There does not seem to be any pattern on when it will decide to be available to cast or not. I would note that the Roku attached to other TVs is always discoverable even on the same device at the same time the LG is acting up so it's not my mobile device but the TV itself. With YouTube you can work around this with the app integration when it occurs, but with other apps not as easy to do.This does seem to be a software bug, so I am hopeful that a future software update will resolve it.
