Just the right size
I bought these for my daughter. The size and thickness of the paper are the same as playing cards. This size is useful for teaching by lining up the cards at close range. These flash cards were just what I wanted.

Easy to carry around
These multi-colored building chips blocks are offering various creative opportunities for kids to explore. My child loves to integrate all the colors into his creation of master pieces. These pieces are sturdy, smooth on the edge so safe for the little hands. They are high quality plastics, and no smells upon opening the package. So I am comfortable to let my child to play with them.

Great set for learning
I got these to refresh my knowledge in music theory. These are great "bite-size" notes that keep me interested and can learn and remember a few at a time. The card quality is good and I see myself saving these for when my kid gets older so she can use them too!

Good for reinforcing learned concepts and introducing new ones
First, the quality of these cards is excellent. They are sturdy and have a glossy, smooth finish that makes shuffling and sorting easy. The printing is clear and easy to read. Each card is numbered 1 - 70 to help keep track and in order, if you wish. The cards also have a category label at the bottom. The categories in this set are:1. Basic Music Symbols2. Trebel and Bass Clef3. Time Signatures4. Key SignaturesThe cards have a concept name on the front (such as "Natural Symbol") and an explanation of the concept on the back. The explanation is an image of what you'll see on a music sheet, and sometimes includes a written definition.Overall I find these cards to be very helpful in improving sight recognition of beginner music notation. As a beginner, you might not encounter all of these symbols in the pieces you play, but the cards are still useful in introducing new concepts and help demonstrate the relationship between known and unknown concepts. It can be helpful to do a side-by-side comparison of different symbols to appreciate how they differ. One minor suggestion would be to include ideas for engaging ways to use these cards. For example, just diving in to all 70 might be overwhelming, but studying 10 at a time and then introducing a few new cards every other day might be a good strategy.

More like study cards than flash cards
Our piano teacher asked that we get flash cards to help the kids learn their notes better. I would say this set is a combination of flash cards and study cards. What I mean by that is flash cards are ones where you can show one side and have them name what it is. Some of the cards in this set are flash cards. Some of them, however, are study cards and not suitable to having them look at one side and name. Instead they are a description with an explanation of what is on the other side.As someone looking specifically for flash cards, I was a bit disappointed as I didn't really need any of the study cards. The cards however were much better in quality in terms of material and feel a lot more substantial than other music flash cards we have tried.

These flash cards are so helpful in supporting my kids as they become new musicians with our piano. The cards are clear and easy to read.

Great: Beginner Music 70-Piece Flashcards: Symbols, Clefs, & Time & Key Signatures
I like the numbering/grouping/color coding of these 3.5x2.5" flashcards. They include the following groups: Basic Music Symbols, Treble & Bass Clef, Time Signatures, & Key Signatures. No matter if you are a beginner or need to brush-up on your music terminology (which I do), this is a really helpful set of flashcards at a really good price ($10).
