Will this work on the Roku streaming stick 4k?

Yea it works! I bought it for exactly that same need. The roku Sri I was too long to fit in the cutout space in the TV. This allowed my to connect them and it should work for any HDMI device

Will this connect and work with the fire stick after you connect it to a tv ?

This is a flexible adapter that you can use to save your tv’s hdmi ports from constant plugging & unplugging which will lead to your tv not functioning after a while. Also some tv’s need it because the stick cannot plug straight in on some models. I use mine on my firestick for that reason and also to help keep it running cooler. Hope this help you in your decision

The female port looks embedded in the housing. Doesn't that keep a male plug from seating all the way in? Doesn't the rim stop bigger housing?

Dear customer, It is a standard HDMI port, compatible with standard HDMI male plug. Thanks & Best Regards.
