Big improvement
We had some old, cheap-quality stage monitors where we were having issues with sound quality and just overall volume. Everyone that would visit our church would point out they needed more volume while on stage so we finally decided to purchase 2 of these. Paired with our QSC amps, these speakers are very loud and extremely clear! The price isn't that bad either considering the quality. All of our QSC products have been holding up very well; we're very satisfied with these speakers!

Awesome Speaker
This is a great speaker. I have a pair we use for outdoor church events and they sound great. The build seems very durable and I have always been a fan of QSC for their quality and reliability.

Great versatile passive speakers
We use these speakers for many different purposes. They are used as main speakers for small PA, as delay speakers for long or wide halls or where the main system is not in ear-shot, as side or front fills, or as monitors in our larger rigs. One of my favorite traits about these speakers is their styling, they look sleek and subtle if they photo bomb a wedding picture (bride-approved speaker- score!). Most importantly, of course, they sound great. We pair these with qsc GX and PLX amplifiers and they are pretty loud when you need them to be. You may find they need some EQ, usually a slight cut in the top-end as they are bright (although not harsh) and maybe some low-mid since they are just a 10". I would recommend pairing these with subs (the matching QSC E118SWs are an awesome choice) if you are doing anything more musically serious than background music or spoken word. They sound similar to KW series boxes, although I find the GX and PLX amps sound better than the amplifiers built into K and KW series boxes. They have a conical dispersion that gives them about the same coverage pattern used horizontally or vertically, making them ideal for monitors and especially front-fills. I give them a 4 star rating in durability because the grill scratches pretty easily and the paint has a tendency to chip. Keep these in cases (the gator cases 12" (yes, 12 inch) speaker bags work great) and you won't have a problem, however. If you put these over E118SWs with PLX/PLD/XTi amplifiers you will have a pretty serious small PA rig.
