Question 1

Does anyone have any experience with this pruning shear. Ryobi has a good name, but I cannot find much about the BSH-120. I need help.

I purchased it about six months ago to help me take limbs off piñon trees.  Hand shears made my hands hurt.  I really like it.  It's a little slow - in other words, there is a bit of a delay between pressing the "handle" and the moment that the blades cut the limb, and the blades don't move very fast, but they are lightweight and can handle limbs the size of a woman's index finger.  I do not use them for anything except trimming the limbs from the 79 piñon trees in my yard but they have made that job much easier.  They last about 30 minutes on a charge.

I'm suspicious: the product is not listed on the Ryobi site; replacement blades seem to be available only on ebay.  What's up?

So far I have not had to replace blade and used it a lot.  Over a year and cut down some very large branches.  Would highly recommend it!

How long is the battery suppose to last? My first attempt was 22 minutes and the second one was a little less than 30 minutes. Mine isn't lasting.

The battery lasts about 30-45 minutes of continual use and charges very quickly. I bought 2 of another brand, Hammerhead TeHo Tools 8301 here on Amazon so that when one battery goes out the other is ready to go. Since they charge so quickly I'm never without. I bought the TeHo one because it's cheaper and works just as well as the RYOBI. In fact they're so similar they must be made by the same manufacturer. Odd. But they're great! The TeHo comes with a replacement blade.
