I love these. I bought one to test it out and then bought another because I loved it so much. I don’t like looking at what’s in the trash. This is a perfect, little solution for my bathrooms.It comes with a roll of liner refills but I usually just dump what’s in it into my large kitchen trash before I empty it so I’ve only actually replaced the little plastic liner a couple times. Also, plastic grocery bags work just fine as liners so really no need to buy the actual liners when you run out.I have had these four months and just replaced the batteries for the first time. They get opened multiple times a day every single day so I consider that a pretty decent battery life.

Keeps waste items in a closed bin, avoiding bad odors from spreading in the bathroom. Lid opens when the sensor picks up your hand over it. There's also an internal light that illuminates the contents at night.

Works fine. Startled my pups so they leave the trash alone now. It’s better than seeing trash in open cans. Good size for between the toilet and wall or under a sink.

I rarely take the time to write a review unless I’m very upset about a product and I’m never satisfied with Amazon purchases. I tend to pick the merchant with the broken, defective, abused, returned and badly repackaged merchandise that they just can't wait to sell to some unsuspecting customer at full price. I am usually that person. However, at first glance I thought this little trashcan to be quite overpriced. But it looked so nice and intrigued me. So I purchased it and Amazon being Amazon sent it to my daughter because she hwas the last person I had sent something to even though I have my own address as the default address —typical Amazon. 1111111qq t’s just really tiny exactly what I needed for a very tight place between bed and nightstand. It’s completely silent. It does tend to open up constantly if you’re hovering about it, but it does its job. You need to throw something away and wave your hand over the little lid opens up. You throw away your trash and waits very politely for you to leave and then it closes itself. I am just Enchanted. I feel like buying everyone in my family one of these as a gift. it’s really pretty. It’s good looking it’s nicely made everything about it is wonderful however, I discovered everybody else in my family seems to already have one and they never shared the secret with me. I do take deference with that. So I am highly encouraging anyone who needs a little trashcan for a little space to get this one. It is so cute it delights every time it’s used and it cannot be compared to or beaten out by and the other little piece of ordinary plastic masquerading as a trashcan.

I love this trashcan and need to get more like it. My kitten can't get in.
