Highly Recommend
I'm sad that I didn't find this product years ago. They're literally perfect - very durable, work excellently, perfectly sized for both small details and slightly larger areas, nicely color coded, and excellent quality. I bought them for fine detail sanding an intricate metal frame and they made the job at least 100x easier/faster. There was noticeably less hand fatigue and rotating the sand paper to a new surface is fast and easy. You can really use the full roll of sandpaper. Excellent product

Helps with detailing
These sanding detailer are pretty cool. They get in corners and other uneven spots. There are easy to use. The size right for the job. They should last awhile. They haven't ripped yet. Helping me with my project.

Indispensable for Whittling!
These have been an amazing addition to my whittling kit. I typically whittle smaller pieces and it’s been a struggle to get into the small and delicate spots. Other have said the bands don’t last long but most sand paper doesn’t. It seems to me it last just as long as any other. It’s well worth the price and honestly been indispensable for me!

fit into very tight spaces to clean up edges
I made this sign for our back room when we converted it from a bedroom to a workspace, but to make the hair/leaves really clean these sanding sticks really helps. Comes in 5 grits with replacement bands so I thought it was a good value. The only issue I have is to rotate the sanding bands, you have to take them off and put them on in a new location (unused sandpaper), it would have been nice to have them clip open, rotate the sanding band and unclick, but overall a good tool, so don't let that stop you.

Super useful to have!
Very useful. One of those items that you don’t see all of the many ways it can aid in your work until you have it at your bench. Sandpaper is good quality and the price is very good.

Must have tools for 3D artists and sculptors
I love these so much and will not part with them. After my first ten seconds of using them I could easily see the value they bring to my projects. I do a lot of sculpting in the traditional sense and with epoxy clay, as well as using plaster and plastics. I can easily flash the edges of my projects and sand out errors, as well as add some minor details with these in a very small amount of time. At first I was skeptical about them and the price, thinking what could a few colored plastic sticks really offer? I’d daydreamed about simple sticks that have sandpaper grit on the end to sand out minor imperfections, and found they do exist. With very moderate reviews for a disposable product at a price tag close to these. So I gave these a shot, and as soon as I opened the package it was clear that they were designed with actual functionality in mind, and that they’re fairly sophisticated mechanisms. But the most important part is what you can do with them when you get to work, so I pulled out a plaster cast of a face and cleaned out the imperfections within seconds. Now they are top of mind whenever I have to modify a surface and even cut shallow grooves. If you’re on the fence about them like I was and they’re something you need, try them out and I already know you’ll keep them.

I use these to help sand out errors in small areas of my pyrography art. It is great there is a wide variety of grits from 120 to 600 so I can use the coarser for 'erasing' and move to finer grits to keep it smooth again for a good burn on the wood.

I have had these for a couple months now, and i can finally give my full opinions on the product, and honestly the price is a little high but for what you are getting they are amazing. I used to use a small piece of wood and a strip of sand paper, which was frustrating to work with because you had to maintain a pulling pressure to keep the sandpaper on the wood strip. for me these detailing sticks are a game changer because i no longer have to pull the sand paper to maintain a sharp edge/flat surface. allowing me to fully focus on detailing. so to summarize my opinion. The price is fairly high, but then again if you consider shipping costs, import fees, taxes, manufacture costs it adds up. and plus they still need to make some profit from making it. so i would say its fair for the price. Its one of those purchases where you buy once and enjoy for as long as you own them. I highly recommend them and this is coming from someone who works on boxes, laser cutting and 3dprinting.

This is a great tool for intricate sanding. Used on checkering gun stocks. Have the larger 1/2” tools as well. Gets into hard tight spaces.
