Jimmy DeanButcher Wrapped, Sausage & Biscuit, 3.5 oz (12 count)

I ordered these on a Wednesday and on the next Monday I received a box with dry ice in it. And buried inside the box was a frozen box of Jimmy Dean Butcher Wrapped, Sausage & Biscuits. I was really surprised! When I ordered them I had no idea how Amazon would get them to me still frozen. And, they really taste good.

The flavor was good on the ones I actually ate. However, when I opened the outer box I was expecting it to be a box in a box. But the sandwiches were just all piled in the one box and most of them were unwrapped from being tossed around in the box that was way too big. That outer box had a big gash in it...so I didn't know what might have been crawling all over those sandwiches. I only at the 4 that were still wrapped and swore never to order it again.

These individually wrapped Jimmy Dean Sausage and Biscuits are very good. They are also a nice size. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are expensive. In fact, this is my second order and I was really surprised how much more they've gone up in price since I purchased my first order. Any more increase in price, no matter how good they are, I will need to re-think about ordering any more.

The product appeared to be exactly what I wanted! A larger version of the frozen small sausage biscuits, but after one bite my joy turned to despair. These don't taste good, the biscuits are awful! They taste as if they are made out of sponge and overpower anything the sausage can do to save the flavor profile. I ate 1 and am not eating anymore. They will sit in my freezer until I need the room and throw them out.

Love both flavor and value. Please send the correct size next time ......🙂

I ordered these because Amazon was sold out of my smaller biscuits. They do arrive frozen. I just never have time in the morning to defrost, so I give it four-star for that. But I like them. But that said, Jimmy Dean's smaller biscuits are better. I found my smaller biscuits so now my freezer runneth over. I've been eating Jimmy Deans sausage and biscuits every morning for years - much to the chagrin of my doctor.
