DAS Vernidas Protective Vitrifying Varnish Glossy Effect 75ml with Brush

This is just the best varnish for air dry clay. It’s a bit thick but self evens and after about 58 cure time it looks like a ceramic glaze

Good stuff, but make sure to put it on thinly or the surface will dry a skim and stay wet underneath.

I received leaked bottle, but in general is good

This worked really well. I was using it to paint stones and make them shiny. It worked really well. It was a lot thicker than I expected and very sticky but it was still fairly easy to use.

Creates a nice glossy finish to your work. A bit sticky though so be sure to protect surfaces. Difficult to read the bottle with how to clean the brush as the writing is so small. White spirit did not work for me, but cleaning the brush in some heated white vinegar worked well (protect your eyes).

I had some problems with delivery but was all sorted in the end!Really pleased with the product so it was worth the wait.It’s so glossy! It comes out pretty thick but spreads easily with the brush that comes with it. Doesn’t bubble as much as others I have tried. Takes long to dry than others but I think the finish is worth it.

Excellent product, used it with Das air drying clay

The product is very cheap in general. In my opinion is not good enough to use even for beginners. The application is not super easy, the smell is quite strong, it is very thick, and it took ages to air dry. After having used my varnished ceramics for a bit, now the varnish has white spots in the places where it's been more used. And due to the complicated application, I struggled to cover one of my pieces completely and it is coming off.

Classico Vernidas, facile da usare, si asciuga rapidamente e l’effetto una volta asciutto è di un bel vetro lucido. Molto comodo il pennellino con cui viene venduto per non doverne sacrificare uno dei propri, ma in realtà se si lava sotto l’acqua una volta finito l’utilizzo lo si riesce a pulire bene.
