Simple, Compact, and Makes Great Rice
The Aroma Housewares 4-Cup Rice & Grain Cooker has been a great little appliance for our kitchen. It’s compact, easy to use, and makes cooking rice simple and convenient. Just add the ingredients, press the button, and it takes care of the rest. The size is perfect for smaller portions and doesn’t take up much counter space, which is a big plus. The rice comes out consistently cooked, and it works well for everyday meals. It’s also versatile enough to handle different grains, making it useful beyond just rice. Cleanup is easy, and the simple design makes it very user-friendly. There are no complicated settings to figure out, which is nice when you just want a reliable cooker that gets the job done. For the price and convenience, this Aroma rice cooker is a great value. It’s a perfect choice for anyone who wants an affordable, compact cooker that makes delicious rice with minimal effort.

Perfect and Adorable
This thing is even cuter in person! It's very simple, only a few parts, and very easy to use. It's even smaller than I thought so it looks cute on the countertop without taking up much space at all. All the pieces that touch food can go in the dishwasher and it even has its own measuring cup that you can just store in it. 10/10

Cleans easily, easy to use.
I love this rice cooker and use it regularly. It is easy to use and just the right size for my family of four. I love being able to set it up and let it cook while I concentrate on cooking other parts of my meal. I have used it to cook rice, long cook grits, and polenta. It cleans up easily, too. Still working after several years of use!

Year worth of use
It was around $15 when I purchased and has lasted me just a little over a year so I will say for what I paid I guess I got my moneys worth. It can cook white and jasmine rice just fine. Brown rice? Don’t even waste your rice and time, I tried multiples times on multiple occasions with multiple brands but it’s always somehow mushy and still hard and uncooked. I’ve never had an issue with it sticking to the inside of the pot. After its year of use it’s started to rapidly brown the bottom of the rice while sitting on warm and it’s leaking water from the bottom, neither of which it used to do so I’ve had to unplug it immediately after it’s done cooking. It’s small and easy to use but don’t expect to have it for a few years

Small But Mighty
I used to bake my rice and it came out perfect every time. I don’t know what changed (there must be a scientific reason) but it started coming out burnt. Same pot, same prep, same measurements. I surrendered and bought this AROMA Mini Rice Cooker. Yes. This is very small. It makes about 4 cups of rice. NOTE: The max white raw rice you put in it is 1.5 cups. Pour water up to the “max” line inside the interior pan. The instruction booklet says that the measuring cup that comes with it is 3/4 cups. So when they say 1 cup — if you use your own measuring cup, measure out 3/4 cup. Brown rice is cooked differently. What worked for me was one (1) measured cup (NOT 3/4 cup) to 2 cups of water. I added 1/4 teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt and 2 tablespoons of butter after the unit switched to warm. I mixed the rice — using the included white plastic paddle — to distribute any remaining moisture equally throughout the rice. I put the cover back on, then unplugged the unit and allowed the rice to continue to steam for another 10 minutes. Butter and salt are optional. To increase the longevity of the unit, only use the provided plastic paddle or, and I think preferably, use silicone tools. ONLY hand wash the components with mild detergent and a soft sponge. This will extend the life of the nonstick insert. It’s small. You can handle it. I highly recommend this small but mighty rice cooker.

My favorite lil gadget!!
Quite possibly my favorite kitchen cooking gadget! My very first rice cooker too so I didn’t know what to expect but it’s perfect! Small so it fits in my lil kitchen& easy to use too! It also cooks rice perfectly in 10-15 minutes and automatically turns off and switches to warm setting till you are ready to serve it! I usually cook 1 1/2 cups of rice rather than 2 because I like to add a lil additional water to my jasmine rice to make it extra fluffy and sticky but I’ve also cooked it regular without adding extra water while cooking and it came out awesome too! Worth the value especially for single people or students and cleans up easy too since the basin is non stick - I LOVE IT

Great Addition to my Kitchen
I tried this little rice cooker for the first time today and it worked perfectly. It was super easy to use and cooked my food evenly and to perfection! I was concerned about it boiling over because another brand that I tried did, but I’m happy to say there were no issues. The non-stick surface of the inner pot made cleanup a breeze. I’ve added a photo of my finished dish, the Teriyaki Shrimp and Rice from the digital recipe booklet. Yum! I highly recommend this product and I’m so happy to add this to my kitchen.

Great product, not great troubleshooting
When I unpacked the rice cooker, it wouldn’t turn on. There was nothing I could do to convince the button to stay switched to “cook”. I reached out directly to Aroma support but they took a while to get back to me, and in the meantime husband had a tinker around with it. It turned out that the middle of the heating element that pressed down when the inner bowl is in place needed to be adjusted and turned just a little (with the thing unplugged, make good choices folks!), and we were finally in business. I feel this type of information could be included in the troubleshooting section of the manual, it seems like something that probably happens often. When support got back to me, the follow up questions they asked didn’t have much to do with the problem or the fix, but whatever it’s fixed now. It works well, washes nicely. The manual doesn’t give any info about water ratios of anything other than rice, so although it can handle multiple types of grains, it doesn’t tell you how to cook them. I have found that many packages have that info on them though, and it’s typically the same ratio as stove top cooking. Bonus points for a cute colour and a delightfully small countertop footprint. The inner bowl and lid seem to go happily through the dishwasher, though I recommend drying the bowl as soon as possible.

For US MARKET
Not for use in U.K. wrong plug and incorrect voltage. Only plus in this saga was the painless returns process. Hats off to the supplier.

Little but mighty
Never would I have ever expected for this ricecooker to work so well! When it arrived and I saw how small it was I honestly felt a little doubtful but once I tried it on its actually very good! It does say 4 cups but that's once it's made your only really able to make 1.5 cups so 3 cups once cooked. If you put 2 cups of dried rice by the time it cooks and expands it won't cook fully since it will pretty much pack it to them brim. Good if its for 2 people maybe 3 max
