I tried about 7 hand held fans, and almost gave up before gratefully finding this one. I am a sensitive sleeper and needed a small fan I could sleep with, and also one with a gentle enough breeze I could sleep with comfortably next to my bed.On the first setting this one is virtually SILENT, and quiet on the others. The other settings are perfectly set for more wind if needed, and the wider airflow really makes a difference.Some of the fans were really heavy or clunky. This is light and compact, and great that can be handheld or used on a surface at different angles.This is a supreme fan, yay!! So happy!!

I purchased two of these portable fans for our trip to Europe. My kids loved it and used it with the neck strap to keep cool on our walking tours. I used it in the bedroom, as my husband likes it warmer, but I need a cool breeze to sleep. I propped it up on the night stand and what a difference!Easy to charge and holds charge for hours of continuous use. It’s quiet and foldable. Great value!

This fan was reasonably priced (approx $8), a bit larger than most mini-fans, has 3 useful wind-speed modes, and the built-in battery seems to last a long time--esp on the slower/est speeds.However, it's hard to prop up..unwieldy if trying to stand on its end = upright, or even when folded back and on its side.. it needs a bigger base for standing upright, and a wider handle to balance on when folded back. And note that it takes some force to bend the fan back..the 2 'grippers' on the sides are tight--which is good to be a snug fit, but not so much it feels like you're gonna break it trying to get it to fold back. Might help to have a small release button or such.It does have a lanyard, so could try hanging it up--if you have something to hang it onto.But a very minor, near-zero-cost redesign (make base bigger..flare it out--and same with the front side, so it'll balance much better those ways) would make this little fan practically perfect!
