(2025 Upgrade) VINGLI Automatic Suction-Side Pool Vacuum Cleaner, Powerful Wall-Climbing Sweeper for Inground Pools, Includes 39.6ft Tangle-Free Hose (Blue&White)

Used for a month now. Works perfectly so far. Yesterday first time tire stuck caused vacuum not moving. I like the design no tools needed to open it up. Front panel click made it easy to open. Solved the problem. Before I purchased, I see some reviews says no enough power, actually there is no power from this device. Power came from pump, if no enough power, I think problems are filter or pump. Overall, satisfied. **Update: after6 months, vacuum starts to stuck not moving at all. I have to open it up and roll it back and forth then it starts to move. But soon maybe next day it’s stuck again.

Read the reviews before purchasing and decided to take a chance. This vacuum is exactly as some negative reciews mentioned. It worked for a total of less than 20 minutes. Installed following included instructions, included Flow Guage used. Adjusted between 3-4 as per instructions (that was a process in and of itself), unit moved to wall, climbed up then sucked air until we had mo choice but to manually maneuvered it. Once back to floor of pool unit continued to make 360° turns and clean same area for nearly 10 minutes before stopping all movement. Pump checked, unit checked for debris, all was well. Returned pump to on and unit did not work again. We will be returning the unit. I gave 1 star ONLY because shipping was faster than anticipated. Price is obviously because "you get what you pay for".

Best, most affordable in ground vacuum I've bought. It doesn't get caught in corners or stall, it keeps on rolling. Gets caught occasionally when it high centers between the wheels on a step, but normally gets off by itself. Thinking of buying a backup in case they modify or discontinue it.

For the $$, this is an excellent option for pool sweeper. Compared to extremely expensive name brand sweepers, this is more than a bargain, it's almost a steal! With the high priced name brand units, you're lucky if you get 2 orc3 seasons before they need to be replaced. At this unit's price point, even if you had to replace every season, you're still money ahead. It does and excellent job, but does take a while to learn your pool and make the full circuit and pathways. At first I was like crap, it isn't working, but after about a month, it now works great. Only downside is it's made in China so with the big orange dummy's tariffs, the price will probably go up once current stock is gone.

This pool cleaner, for its price, does a very good job at cleaning my pool. I would have given them a higher rating if it wasn’t for the following problems that I have encountered: 1. The regulator valve they provided did not fit properly inside my skimmer, so I left it out since I was able to regulate the water intake at the pump. 2. I did connect the (45 degree) elbow connector to the compression adapter provided and then to the hose. 3. This last connection to the hose at the skimmer would disconnect occasionally when operating so I had to attach it with an “O” ring. 4. After a couple of weeks, the “Hose float” attachment that helps to maintain the unit from climbing up the pool wall above the water level came loose. I did put it in a vise and heated it up in order to reduce its diameter so it would fit snug over the hose next to the cleaner. However, this only lasted a few days before coming loose again. Afterwards, I drilled 2 holes at the end of the float and connected them with a cable tie. See pictures. 5. My biggest issue is that the cleaner gets stuck at the top of the main drain concave grate which is 1 5/8” above the bottom of the pool enough for the tires of the cleaner to turn but not grasp anything. I checked with Amazon to see if they had any flat main drain grates, but I haven’t found one so far. I tried placing some plastic rods on 4 holes around the center of the grate (see picture) and it has helped but occasionally it gets stuck. The other alternative that works is to remove the grate.

New Pool Owners like me: learn how to use it! I tried it for 2 days and didn’t work as expected: it stopped every 5 mints or less and I had to unstuck it manually. Then I learn how to add/remove power to the skimmer. Once I added more power suction to the skimmer, the vacuum worked perfectly. I leaving this info because I was about to leave a negative review to the product, when it was in fact just a matter of knowing how to adjust the suction power. Hope this info helps.

Trying to find the balance in suction with the regulator has been quite a task. When I think it's just right, it's moving around great in the pool and picking up debris like it should. But then it climbs a wall and starts sucking air at the top, which causes the pump to lose prime and then the vacuum completely shuts down until I manually intervene to reprime the pump. It does not reprime itself unless I intervene. So I turn down the suction a bit, and it happens again. I've turned it way down to where it barely moves, as that's seems to be the only way to keep it from climbing a wall and sucking in air. This is not what I was hoping for. Having to manually intervene every time it sucks in air defeats the entire purpose of this type of vacuum. Will probably return this. UPDATE 6/15/2025: The hose ends up getting coiled up from the vacuum's movement to the point that the vacuum cannot pull itself out of this condition and just sits there working in a small area until I manually intervene and uncoil the hose. It's getting returned.

I am updating my review (and increasing from w stars to 5 stars) because the seller stepped up and replaced my cleaner! Im hopeful this one outlasts the previous unit, but currently, it is doing a great job! (Original review) Worked great for 8 months. Now it doesn't move without being nudged. Then it moves 3 to 5 feet and stops. Nothing lodged inside and nothing visibly broken.
