Sturdy
Finally got to use this to pull in a good 40 lb black drum off a pier. Performed solidly and didn't give at any tie points. Hopefully I get years of use out of it.

A Must-Have for Pier or Bridge Fishing
Where I’m from there are plenty of folks who fish off of bridges and yet I rarely see anyone using these very handy and necessary landing nets. If you’re on the coast somewhere - you already know these nets are something one cannot go without. This bet is very lightweight and perfectly sized for securely landing most any sized fish you’ll find on the end of a line . It’s made of very sturdy netting and comes with more than enough rope. This is an easy to use and necessary addition to your kit next time you go bridge or pier fishing. Best of all- it doesn’t cost nearly as much as a lot of other handled dip nets.

Heavy Duty Net That Folds Up Small
This net has definitely saved some big fish that I never would have gotten up on the pier if I hadn't had it. It is pretty easy to fold up once you get the hang of it. I stand on one side and twist until it folds up to three hoops and goes back in the bag easily. Practiced this a few times before ever fishing with it and it's pretty dependable so far, hope that this net lasts as the unfolded size is great and the rope is super strong and easy to attach to the net.

Works great
Nice big secure net. Folds up very very easily and compactly. Hauled several fish up the pier no problem over a few trips, felt very sturdy. Looks as good as new still. Excellent pier net.

My backup pier fishing net
After first using a pier fishing net, I will never go back to not using one. These are amazing at locks or on piers, stopping you from having to bother people to walk them down the entire pier to where you can land them.

works well enough
Used this for some fishing this past weekend off a smallish sized pier and it worked well for that purpose. Was only about 5 feet above the water so it was no significant height. I'm sure it will work just as well off the mega piers that dart out into the ocean, but I fear the rope will be too short for those at only 15m. I'll probably buy a second rope and daisy chain the two together or just replace this one with a 100 ft rope instead.

Great for Bait fish
I ordered this Catching Bait fish in order to fish for larger fish. This works excellent and seems extremely durable. It has a nice weight to it And it is easy to use.

Seems pretty nice.
I admit this is my first pier fishing net, after discovering I could use one during a trip to Florida last winter. So I'm no expert on this item, but I can comment on how it's made. It has a thin, flexible wire on top covered with plastic tubing. The ring at the top as well as the nylon netting all seems substantial enough to hold decent size fish. The cord is quite heavy at 5/16 inches in diameter, and should be the strongest part of this setup. The included case is just large enough to hold everything--no room for extras and it is slightly challenging getting the net back in after folding. Folding itself will initially be frustrating, but once you get the hang of it, it isn't bad (watch the video provided with the item information on Amazon.) At $29 the price seems reasonable for what you get.
