ESV Archaeology Study Bible

As English learner, this Bible is excellent to have a better vocabulary. Plus, the archaeological material is excellent for those whose want to get a better knowledge about the context and history from the Biblical lands. By the way, the size of the letters is perfect t have an easy reading.

This Bible has so many great features! As a middle school history and language arts teacher, this Bible combines two of my greatest interests: the Lord and history. While I usually prefer reading a KJV translation for enjoyment, I can clearly say after spending the last few days diving into the articles and new information out of pure excitement, that this is my new study companion and a great source to check verses I am confused by from the KJV translation.For those looking for the TLDR:Great bible for everyone, even people like me who have a preference for KJV translations.

Obviously, I will be reviewing the particular benefits of the ESV Archaeology Study Bible, not the Bible in general or the ESV translation.I preordered this Bible for my husband as a gift. We have both been doing the Daily Walk Bible (another great Bible) for the past two years, and as we read through the Old Testament, he kept remarking on how much he wanted maps of the old civilizations to increase understanding. God is good, and I happened across a small advertisement for this Study Bible and felt that it would fit his need. I was not disappointed! This Bible has plenty of maps that help to clarify geography and much more!For anyone who has read through the entire Bible, especially in the course of a year, you know that reading through the construction of the tabernacle, temple, etc. can be tedious. It is such a game changer to have pictures to help guide you through! It is also great to have pictures of other things as well such as the cedars of Lebanon or time specific artifacts. It helps you to better understand the context of a lot of the language in the Bible.As previously stated, we are reading through the Bible in a year, so we’ve only gotten to 2 Chronicles so far in this Bible, but it has already provided a lot of interesting information.My mother-in-law read through a few pages of it and asked for one for Mother’s Day! So far it has been a great purchase.

This study Bible is awesome. I love all the points of reference it provides to really understand the people who were the original audience. Highly recommended!

I always like archaeological references to bible readings as it helps me relate the stories to the actual time. This bible is excellent. Only issue is the print size. Wish it was in larger print.

This is such a nice book. It was in perfect condition and looked completely brand new. Very pleased!

excellent study Bible, there are many great articles and so for I am happy with the quality. but for some reason I am unable to find any info on Papyrus p52. I thought that that was a very important discovery, and doesn't appear to be mentioned in this study bible.
