Accurate, Quick, On Target
First, I don’t write reviews very often, and I’m am not paid or provided any incentives. Too many reviews today are bogus in my opinion. Rewards, product giveaways, etc. brainwash the truth. I bought a CaddyTalk Cube directly from CaddyTalk based on Google reviews. There is no way if the “truth be told” that the reviews could have compared the Cube to this Bushnell. The Cube was all over the place picking up ranges on other holes, even squirrels sitting next to the green. Yardages were a complete hope and guess. This Bushnell is quick, clear, and reliable and is way less work to get an accurate reading that I have confidence in. Little heavier, bigger, solid - YEP, but if you’re riding in a cart who cares. I’d rather have an accurate reading that I have confidence in.

Poor Product Quality Assurance
Just received the Pro X3+ and the red LEDs were partially not working. Parts of it were dimmed and other parts very bright. The black LED worked fine, and no issues with Bluetooth app connection for wind, the rangefinder auto connected each time I launched the app and hit the power button.Seems the quality control on this is poor, or I somehow got a refurb or defective return? Called Amazon customer service and they said a replacement was not possible so I had to start a return process and purchase another one. Fingers crossed the next one is good! Also after testing this Pro X3+ on the course the yardage is pretty fast and accurate compared to my friend's unit, and also tested against a Leupold GX5. The connection with the app was pretty quick and I never lost connection, unless you don't have the app running then the connection is lost but as soon as you launch the app it connects pretty quick. The one thing Bushnell should have done is to link with the app GPS instead to give you front/middle/back readings which to me is way more useful than the wind direction or speed. Bushnell if you're reading this please update the firmware to use GPS!

Good rangefinder, not a great upgrade from x3
The rangefinder itself is fine. The optics are great, it has elements (that should take elevation and temperature into effect). It gets a quick lock on flags and works very well. The build quality seems excellent as well. The reason for the lackluster review is the wind feature. It just isn't that great. Depending on where you store the rangefinder, you most likely will have to keep doing recalibration on it. (Making quick figure 8s in the air) Not to mention twice now in about 15 rounds the rangefinder completely stoped getting wind data. On both occasions I was able to finally get the wind data back by unpairing repairing and holding power button down for 15 seconds. I don't know exactly what I did to fix it, but eventually it came back. Finally, I just don't see the wind data as that useful of information in its current iteration. It might help you a little bit with direction in certain cases, but in other cases it just might confuse you. They don't give you a wind adjusted number, and that is probably a good thing because wind can be so variable. At the time I got this I was able to get it quite a bit cheaper than the previous generation pro X3. So I really don't regret my decision. But under normal circumstances at retail prices, if you are able to get previous generation pro X3 for a cheaper price than I would definitely go that route. Or, get a cheaper rangefinder completely. There are so many good ones out there nowadays, Bushnell no longer is the only quality brand.

Wind Option Not Working
So far not impressed for how much this costs. It was cool to see that they have a wind option that when paired with your phone will be displayed, however sadly that feature has yet to work. Every time I bring it up, the wind feature flashes and if you read the documentation it states there’s a calibration method that needs to happen, which I have performed. Every time go to laser a flagstick the wind feature flashes again and you need to redo the calibration sequence only to see that it always shows 2 miles an hour of wind, no matter what the wind speed actually is.With regards to the other elements feature so far that seems OK however I have buddies with other rangefinders that use elevation and our numbers are always the same so I’m thinking I’ll have to wait until the temperatures are much cooler than the numbers that they receive. With regards to the windspeed, I have tried to call Bushnell Golf multiple times on their provided 800 number however it constantly says that the mailbox is full and you cannot even leave a callback number for them to contact you. Fairly embarrassing for such a large organization
