Gladiator Blu-ray 2018 Region B

Never got chance to see this film in the cinema many years ago, so I am so glad it is available in 4k UHD. The colours pop, and the picture looks very sharp and detailed. My wife hadn't seen it and initially wasn't even slightly interested in watching, but by the time we were half way through she couldn't stop watching it to see how it ended. Highly recommend for those who haven't seen it, or anybody who has seen it but not yet in 4k.

The story is of course fantastic , Russell Crowe , Joaquin Phoenix , Connie Nielson , Oliver Reed and Richard Harris are all brilliant in this multi award winning film ,directed by Sir Ridley Scott. It one of my top three favourite films of all time and I never tire of watching it. Back in the day I purchased on VHS , DVD , BLU RAY and now finally its on 4K and it looks and sounds amazing . You also get the BLU RAY DISC & a third DISC of bonus features with over two hours of new content. You will want to watch this again and again and "On my signal unleash hell !"

A classic film, it was excellent on the best Blue Ray version ( NB: not all BR versions had the same PQ) The latest 4K release brings another level to the PQ and sound, some scenes are simply spectacular, viewed on a quality 4K TV with suitable surround sound system, this is as near cinema quality in the home as you will get. Highly recommended.

A great film now on 4k, looks very nice on my oled with plenty of detail and a nice black level, sutle level of grain here also, a classic film imo worth owning.

Very good picture in 4k. With plenty of detail & rich colours. The sound is good as well. The disc has HDR10 & Dolby Vision. Although I did find the Dolby Vision did make the darker scenes to dark. The audio is DTS-Master Hd in 7.1. The disc also has the extended version in 4K, which is the version i would recommend as it contains scenes that explain other parts of the film.

Well, Gladiator has genuinely never looked better........there is a radical improvement over the last decent remastering on blu ray, lots of rich grain (which is much more noticeable in the earlier 'Germanic' forest scenes) which I happen to like...along with an overall crisp sharpness and superb detail, it simply has never looked this good......the DTS master audio wallops it out even on a low volume on my Panasonic sound bar (so no need to turn it up to eleven unless Nigel Tufnel's visiting).....also it comes with both theatrical and extended versions in 4k......UNLEASH HELL!

Well worth the money. 4k version in extended cut ( 2hours 50mins ) with Dolby Vision. Whats there to say more? Superb classic movie with incredible picture and sound. Fire looks almost liquid in HDR here. 2 scenes I has frame drop for like 1 second, rewinded and checked if its not random but no. Still a minor thing someone might not notice

Maybe the packaging would look a little different and nicer, if it had a cardboard box (wrapper) for that money, because after all, it's about a legendary film production. Blu-ray 4K et 2 Blu-ray « standard » version UK pour les versions longue et cinéma de Gladiator. Si vous recherchez un boîtier avec les 2 types de Blu-ray, c’est l’une des meilleures possibilités à ce jour (le boîtier français est quasiment introuvable ou à un prix nettement supérieur, il en est de même pour les autres boîtiers UK ou US). Attention aux Boitiers Allemands qui ne possèdent pas la bande-son Française.
