Command Outdoor Mini Hooks, 6 Mini Hooks and 8 Small Adhesive Strips, Transparent - Damage Free Hanging

I purchased these to use instead of screwing a strap hook onto my ukulele. I was first impressed at how hard I had to pull to get the backings off the strip, which boded well for the effectiveness of them to hold onto appropriate surfaces. I am confident that the hooks will stay put for a long time and as a test have held up my large baritone ukulele by the hook, with my other hand close, just in case the glue gave way, but it stayed firm, even though I shook the ukulele a bit. It follows that the hook makes for a very good strap hook, so I am pleased that I thought of using one of these.I would give these a full 5 star rating, though, if the strips were as transparent as the hooks themselves, the illustration is a bit deceptive on this. At the same time they are fairly opaque and do not take up the whole surface of the hook undersides, so the edges of the hooks will do show up the surfaces at least.The tabs are handy if you expect to want to remove the hooks easily, and don't mind their presence, but I have very carefully cut it off in my case, as I am sure that should I need to remove the hook it will probably come off with appropriate careful persuasion.

These little beauties stick like you know what to a wooly blanket.A bit of common sense is needed like don't put on wallpaper, clean off any polish or moisture etc.Pull the tab, press on the clip or it'll ping back & hit you on the nail.These little stickers will hold up a set of chunky crimbo lights no probs.I even put them outside, they were fine (I cleaned & dried the area first).Very unobstrusive, blend in well.

Thought these were clear as per the image but turns out they are White Coloured.Clear suited my needs (being attached to a dark brown surface) where as White Stands out.Other than that they appear to be working fine.

Excellent product especially if your drill is broken

Not enough surface area on the back of the hook in contact with the sticky strip so they keep falling off. Would not recommend
