SEBSON PIR Sensor Outdoor IP44 Wall Surface-mounted 12m/180° LED suitable

Really decent and pretty straightforward. Mounted it to my outside old fashioned street light in drive way and it works a charm. Settings response are really good on it

First one would not respond to movement, I spent ages (to put it politely) "fiddling" with it. Fair dues I received a refund promptly. The new one worked fine straight out of the box, had the first one not wasted have a day it would have got 5 stars.I used it to control an expensive pir light that had already cost me around 40 quid for a new plug in pir unit which only lasted a couple of years, this was cheaper and gives more flexibility.Only downside as others have said very tight space for wiring up.

Easy to install, I found it better to drill the plugs, then connect the wire before screwing it to the wall, otherwise as previously mentioned it's a bit fiddly.I admit got the 2 live wires mixed up so it didn't work first time but easily swapped over with no damage and works perfectly and looks nice

Installed this to stop an LED light constantly staying partly on due to an older style PIR sensor not fully closing the circuit when off.It feels a little flimsy compared to the sensor it replaced, but seems to work just fine.Note there’s no earth terminal.It’s very small, may actually be smaller than the dimensions suggest.

This is a really good simple unit . I originally purchased cheaper ones which were a pain it didn’t work at all. But this works seamlessly , really easy to wire and fit . Does what it’s supposed to . Recommended

I purchased this Sebson independent PIR to connect to a separate Sebson LED security light.The both online and instruction booklet said there were two wires to connect but conflicting wire colours were stated PLUS on the unit itself was an additional THIRD wire coloured RED but this was never mentioned in ANY wiring instructions.Although RED wire in the UK has for sometime been replaced by BROWN as a live wire, RED is still associated with live electric supply.Having reported this to Sebson as being possibly dangerous and poor inconsistent instructions both online or in their booklet, they agreed it was all wrong but rejected it was their fault as they did not manufacture themselves the PIR or any other security lighting and only sold them under the Sebson name.Not sure how Health and Safety and Trading Standards would view their rejection of having any liability or responsibility. Sebson is a German company but I’m sure the same safety rules would also apply to them.Although I reported the danger with written and photographic details, as yet no solution has been forthcoming from Sebson but Amazon customers should be made aware of the potential danger to themselves and any qualified electrician installer.

It works well, no false alarms, which is why I had to remove my old one of a different make. Only slight complaint is working up a ladder I found the junction box to be small and fiddly. I had in the end to have a secondary junction box at side of it.

Fonctionne très bien, très réactif et simple à régler.L'intérieur est un peu étroit, c'est un peu chaud pour raccorder au courant, mais on y arrive quand même
