Amazon Brand - Goodthreads Men's Denim Jacket

Great jacket. After trying 3 previous denim jackets, this the right one. Other were too narrow in sleeves or had cheap buttons. As others have mentioned, this is high quality like the L word jackets. Ordered large from size chart and is perfect fit. Button holes really tight, but will likely open up with wear. Inside pockets can hold a phone easily. Nice and deep.

I was on the fence between this jacket, and a Levi's Trucker jacket.When it comes to the quality of materials and construction, the two were about the same. This jacket lost the competition when it came to the cosmetics. The cut felt a bit shorter in the waist (maybe by an inch,) which caused the jacket to feel like it was riding up too much, and the color options for the Goodthreads brand are simply too limited. Ultimately, I wanted a much darker wash.I would recommend this jacket to anyone who's looking for a basic denim jacket, and isn't too concerned about a few cosmetic differences.

i purchased this jacket based on the reviews,thinking,OH WELL i will just wash it because of all the "STRONG SMELL/ODOR ISSUES.well i tore into the plastic bag with a a gas mask at the ready,BUT SURPRISINGLY NO ODER!just a normal scent of a new garment.also all the issues concerning the button holes, maybe its me but also no problems!BUT THE MOST SURPRISING IS THE QUALITY AND FIT JUST PERFECT!I don't want to wash it in fear of shrinking? I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO PURCHASE THIS AS A GIFT FOR MY SONS OR FAMILY.BY,BY LEVIES!

It is a good enough jacket. It is black denim and not a name brand, if that is a factor. Buying a few different denim jackets at once, the fit on the Goodthread Denim Jacket is baggy and not fantastic. The sleeves are long and shoulders are rounded and buttons don't quite fit and release.It does not look as good as the Levi's Trucker jacket. The Goodthreads jacket isn't a bad jacket but spending the extra money on Levi's is definitely worth it for sleeves that fit better and more sleeker/more powerful lines and shoulders.Good enough jacket but if you can spend the extra $20 on Levi's, do that.

Well made jacket with a nice weight to it. Fit is as expected, except is a bit tight for me across the back/shoulders.The buttons holes are comically tight, but it’s easy enough to widen those with a knife.The black dye is apparently sulfur-based and not thoroughly set. To get rid of the atrocious chemical stink and to prevent color bleeding, I soaked it in cold water and vinegar for a few hours, followed by a normal wash. That took care of it. It’s a hassle, but seems to be a common problem with the black denim dying process.

Well tailored medium weight denim.Unfortunately, I had to use several very sharp knives to open up the front button holes. The button holes are nicely reinforced but so tight that mine had to be cut to allow buttons to pass through.This is a shame because otherwise this is a 5+ item

Quality denim, superior craftsmanship, and timeless style prove a winning combination for this classic jacket. Fit is true to size and while button holes are certainly secure (as described in other reviews), this is not a show stopper. A jacket of this caliber and price is a phenomenal bargain. You cannot go wrong with this garment.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and it is his new favorite jacket! everything about it if nearly perfect from color, feel, its not too heavy, there are extra pockets inside. The only thing I will say is that my boyfriend is 6'5" and quite skinny so I had to get him the XL for length but it is kinda baggy on him in the shoulders/arms, but he doesn't mind :) just thought I'd note that.

When I was ordering this jacket, I noticed that almost everyone said how hard it was to button the jacket. When I received my order,it took me almost ten minutes to unbutton it, just to be able to try it on. That means when I use the jacket, and button it up, it will take me at least that long to be able to take it off. Wow, this is supposed to be ok? I suggest that maybe you can make an effort to solve this problem, for future customers. Just a thought. Richard.

Amazing jacket. Ordered large for oversized fit and it's perfect. I am 5'7" and usually women's medium in tops. However, the "Black" is not true black. It's a very dark navy. However, it's a nice wash, amazing quality, real denim. Wondering why the light wash isn't available in Canada because I'd like to get that as an alternative!

beautiful jacket, button holes were tight, just run them thru with a marker to expand them, its a better quality jacket than i expected for a store brand

Perfect fit! I ordered a small jacket and I'm 5'7 tall and weight around 147lb. It looks amazing and the quality is great! I'm very happy with my purchase.

Lots of pockets and the stitching seems to be of good quality, it is a bit hard to do up but no one does up jean jackets anyway
