Q: This subwoofer cone hits the wire mesh gaurd and makes a metalic sound, is there anyway i can stop that?

This would suggest that you have pushed the grill down. Try checking the grill and pull it back up.

Q: Where do you plug the rca ( phono leads) please

The RCA are connected to the multiplex plug that has the highlevel (speaker input) and the RCA (phono inputs) all on.
