This book gives you a good insight into how electricity works as well as electrical systems and how to fix them, in a simple manner without treating you like a child, I have found it very helpful. I have some professional Knowledge from working in a garage some years ago so this was brought as a refresher rather than from scratch; but I still think it could help a Novice

Don’t Bother
The information has not been updated in nearly 20 years and has no help to offer modern vehicles. Waste of money and certainly not recommended. Surprised at Haynes still keeping this in print.
