Worth it for consumers of nut and oat milks
It's pretty awesome. I've been waiting for this to come out since I saw it on Shark Tank. Fresh, on-demand oat milk sounded cool. I'm a pretty heavy user of oat milk, and it occurred to me that I was also throwing out a decent amount of it when I travel for work, etc. I like new gadgets, so I thought I would give this one a shot. I purchased the combo of the machine and included four (4) pouches of oat milk (those were delivered separately the following day, which was a little strange). Once everything arrived, I set up the machine. It took a little reading to figure out what to remove and what to keep, but the instructions were placed everywhere it was needed. Stupid me spent about five minutes trying to find the water tank like a Keurig machine --> Hint, there isn't one. You put the water directly in the carafe that sits on the base. Once I figured that out, I popped in the pouch on the top and pressed the button. It whirred like a Vitamix for a minute or so while the pouch mixed into the water. I set the water amount to the "Creamer" size and it made about a 1/4th of a gallon. I took a swig right out of the carafe when it was done, and it tasted excellent. Better than any store-bought that I've had. I put the rest in the fridge and I've been using it for the last few days in my coffee. After it had sat still for a while, you could see a bit of natural separation, but one quick shake of the jug and it was back to looking normal. Originally I got this to bring to the office, but now that I've fallen in love with it, I think I'm just going to buy another one and keep this one at home.

Don't buy
After 5 uses I returning it because I can't open it and use it! I try everything to make it work. The main bottom is still on red what means that either it's overhead or something is blocking the door. I figured out in order to use the patches of almond milk I order that the only think I need is the milk container and the patches. I put the water it's needed in a blender with one patch and the milk is ready. So you can have this amazing milk just by buying the patches. If you want to have the milk conditioner it's still a lot less money to order that the mechine. I'll try to return it because it's literally the only product I use it for less than a month and the space it takes it makes it not worth any penny! Enjoy Numilk without the mechine is exactly the same. Blenders do exactly the same work. I didn't know that this mechine was just to blend the water with the patch.! I hope I help some costumer with this little advise.

where has this been my whole life?? best plant-based milk at home
I will never buy nut/oat milk from the store again. This machine has truly transformed my meal prep. I make smoothies every morning and drink teas (including lattes) almost every night. I have considered making my own nut milks and oat milk instead of always buying store-bought (so many fillers ew), but they take so much time to make.So when I found this and saw that each of the nut milk packets has just a few ingredients, I figured I'd try it first. It was so fast and EASY. And most important to me, the ones I've tried so far tasted amazing (matcha oat & vanilla pistachio). The vanilla pistachio has a rich, slightly sweet flavor that's perfect for my smoothies and the matcha oat is super smooth with that perfect matcha earthiness. It comes with instructions but literally all you have to do is add your container of water, tear open the packet, pop it in, and press start. The milk is done in about a minute. And cleanup was also easy. The parts you'd want to clean come out effortlessly and are easy to rinse off.I just have to reiterate...this milk is incredibly smooth. You would never guess it didn't have a bunch of sugars or gums. And you can control the creaminess by adjusting the water ratio. Because there aren't emulsifiers, my milk does separate after a while, but I just shake it up before using it again.Aside from the great taste, this machine is a fantastic investment. I'm crossing nut milk off my grocery list forever. Basically Numilk is a game-changer for me. It's quick, easy to use, easy to clean, and it looks great on my counter. Highly recommend!!

Not That Impressed
I live for almond milk. It's lower carb, lower glycemic, and being plant-based, is a lot better for the environment. So I use almond milk in every situation where I would have used cow's milk 20 years ago or so. So getting the numilk machine seemed like a really good idea for me.I've only had my numilk machine for a short time, but I'm already kicking myself for getting it, and having buyer's remorse. I think the biggest problems are these:* It's considerably more expensive than grocery store almond milk, even without factoring in the cost of the machine. The packets are $5 each!* It's not really "fresh" since you are using a gruel made of almonds, in a package that has been sitting on a shelf or in a warehouse for who-knows-how-long. That's basically the opposite of "fresh" is it not??* For some reason the nut-paste can live forever inside the package, but as soon as you add water to it (which is all the machine really does, that and blend it a bit), then you have only a few days to use it before it goes bad.* Most of their pouches come loaded with extra sugar added to it.* The most popular flavor of store bought almond milk is vanilla, which I love, and which of course is a flavor that the NuMilk people don't offer. Yes, I can (and do) buy vanilla and add it, but every step like that makes the whole process less and less desireable. On the plus side, the (unsweetened) almond milk does taste pretty good, and the machine and containers are very sturdy and well made. But for me it just has too many other drawbacks.
