LumenBasic LED Dusk to Dawn Bulb, 60 Watt Incandescent Equivalent, Outdoor Use, Daylight White E26 Non-Dimmable 360 Degree Sensor

This light seems to be as bright as promised, and the light sensor is very effective. We have it mounted in a very shaded porch light, and we were concerned that it might come on during the day. But it correctly senses the light and only comes on as it is getting dark.I saw one review where somebody complained about the light and it was clear the reviewer had it on a dimmer. This it NOT a dimmable light -- it needs to be on a regular on/off switch.I don't know about durability. It looks solid, but it's only been in place for a short time. It's relatively expensive so we hope it will last. But so far so good.

In the old days, you’d have to buy a whole light fixture with a dusk-to-dawn sensor built in. Or you’d buy an unreliable screw-in sensor adaptor and screw the bulb into that. Now you can buy bulbs (like this product!) with the sensor built in and skip the whole process of installing a new fixture or trying to fit an adaptor into your fixture. And this particular product is extra cool because, instead of having a little sensor “eye” that you have to point in just the right direction for it to work well, it has a 360 degree sensor and smart electronics that sense light across a wider area and turn the bulb on and off reliably and at the right time of day. Works like a charm!

I've only had this in for a week but it has worked flawlessly. I was a little worried because my porch fixture is under an overhang but it does not have any issues sensing the light. Would definitely recommend to others who don't want to replace a fixture. Installation is literally as easy as changing a light bulb.

I like that you don't have to point a sensor in a particular direction. It comes on and goes off as it's supposed to, without need of bright sunlight. It's in a torch style fixture (so bulb faces up) with clear glass, so no obstruction, on a south facing wall with a big tree in front. The only slight negative is that the upward turned bulb does not throw much light down, since all the light comes from the top half of the bulb. Still plenty bright to light the walk but would probably be better in a downward fixture.

You cannot use these bulbs in an exterior light that needs two bulbs. When one bulb lights, the other goes out.Also, because the bulb apparently needs room for the 360 degree photocell, the bottom half of the bulb is white plastic, which ruins the look of our very expensive outdoor light.

Can't say enough about how great this light bulb is. We have a vacation home where we don't want to keep the light on 24 hours a day so this light is perfect. The company is awesome to work with too. They want their customers to be completely happy and strive for that. I would highly recommend this bulb for anyone looking to save electric.

What a unique age we live in when we don't even have to flip a light switch to light our way, or light up a porch or back deck. This LED bulb has a light sensor that tells it when to come on and turn off. It produces a very white daylight like light. The bulb draws so little power I feel good that I can run it all night for a Penny or two!

Installed the led bulb when it arrived. It works great so far. Goes on and off as it should. I have it installed in a covered porch in a open bottom porch light fixture that has no on and off switch so the dusk to dawn led bulb is perfect for that. Wish I had bought it sooner
