I recently added this AI-Powered Driver Assistance 4K Dash Cam as my second dashcam, and I’m thoroughly impressed. Good Morning i am trying to figure out why the camera would automatically shut off by itself while still with power. I have to plug it out and comes one again. Has anyone had this problem as well?

My daughter almost rear ended someone by daydreaming. So I shopped and found this product.PROS: Nice display can download app to phone and use a secondary display on the phone. Lots of neat safety features as advertised.CONS:(1) Biggest concern is how it would perform on forward collision warning. It does not appear to warn you well in advance. Like if your going 40mph and there is a car 30 feet away and you are not slowing down. It seems to warn you just before, like 5 feet away, too late by then.(2) What I like is that there is a blind side light if there is someone to the rear left or right (but not directly left or right since there is not a camera for that). My issue is it is on the device itself, where the device sits in the middle. It would be better to have these as a separate wired light where we can route to the left or right side of the car.(3) Lane departure will signal regardless if you signal or not. This is a false beep. It would be good if you could wire it as an option to the right and left turn signal so we dont get this false alert (or some other solution).(4) I notice a problem where it detected a motorcycle guy directly in front of me as a pedestrian.(5) Wish they made a wireless side cameras so it can detect blind side. (Again, it only detects rear-left and rear-right, not left and right.) I seriously wouldn't mind drilling a hole on my door for a tiny camera. They at minimum should allow an optional paid option for this so we can get entire 360 view.SUMMARYOverall, still an excellent product, especially if you're using it as a DVR. It's like getting the safety features for free. Must have for older cars! I'm hoping they improve over time.

This Item was easy to install, run the cables as usual, make sure you attach the unit so you can see it as you drive not to high under the rear view or anywhere in you usual driving visual range. The language is hard to understand ins some ADAS features, and the warning is varied at what time it warns you. As usual it's better to have some sort of Dash cam with ADAS, than none. Drive Safely!!!

This is an interesting dashcam that uses AI to provide warnings for things like forward collision and lane departures. Unfortunately, I discovered that the event recording has a serious defect. When an event is detected, the camera records the next few minutes and saves it to a special folder. Unfortunately, the recording does not go back in time from the event, so you cannot see the CAUSE of the event. You can stop and pull the history leading up to the event, but you need to purposefully yank that history or risk having it overwritten by the unit. I think this is disqualifying for a dash cam.

The setup was easy, but I did have to spend a bit of time on the calibration process to get the AI features working right. Once I had it calibrated they have been spot-on. It’s a relief knowing I’ve got some extra safety on the road. Definitely worth the effort to set up properly.

Very disappointed. I was shipped a used item..Didn't even remove the return label and it was shipped directly to me.just received it today. Returning item right back!!!
