Quality lighting at an affodable price.
I use this double arm, clamp on, desk lamp for painting and colouring with pencils or as ambient room lighting. Colours are clear and I can use one arm or both if using a reference photo, one arm if my computer is on works well. It doesn't matter if it is a winter evening or the middle of the night, I have good lighting at my fingertips. The on / off, adjustable brightness touch control is on the ends of the arms which I can angle with the swan neck being bendy. Easy to use, there are fiddly switches to find in the dark. It is also easy to clamp to a desk. The adjustable brightness is a plus point and I use it on low for cosy lighting while watching television. Only 14 watts LED. A very minor fault that the bulbs aren't replaceable but LED's last a long time. The only other thing that might be improved is an ability to angle the shades but I'm managing just fine by having the angle and height right. Thinking of buying the matching floor lamp as a reading lamp elsewhere. The Duo Pro desk lamp is certainly good value for money.

Delicate design, but a beautifully thought out daylight lamp!
Very easy to put together. Because this light is slender and has an elegant slim design, you would need to be particularly careful how you use it. I’m an artist and it’s used at the back and slightly to the side of my easel. There are four settings and the ‘touch switches’ are operated at the end of the tubes. Both tubes are independent. So you don’t need to have both tubes on at the same time. The base is heavy, but it needs to be? The tubes are really super and mimic daylight really well. I just love the modern design of this lamp and the way you can position the tubes.......someone has really thought it out nicely! As long as you leave it alone when using it, and don’t let kids mess with it! and you screw up the sections really tight so there are no loose joints, you should be OK. It’s not the kind of lamp that would take rough treatment or too many bad knocks. You can’t change the led’s because they’re integral, but should last for years. I think this lamp is a lovely design, if a little on the delicate side! However, it’s very good at what it does - gives a daylight effect, and I personally think it’s a first class ‘cool’ piece of kit. JUST BE CAREFUL WITH IT! Not for the kids room or where it could get bumped into by big dogs!? This lamp is for discerning and gentle people! Since buying there have been disappointments from other people who have bought this lamp....I cannot understand for the life of me how the thread can be lost on the bottom section......if you cross thread the thread - that’s your fault, not the manufacturer? If you overload it’s electrical capacity it will naturally melt the innerds! If you leave it on for hours at a time it’s going to get warm. Use your head folks. p.s. Make VERY sure you tighten each section properly. Wrap a piece of leather ( or similar) around each section and using pliers gently apply pressure until the joints are nice and tight. Better still get a handyman to do it for you if you don’t have tools. It is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL YOU TIGHTEN THE SECTIONS PROPERLY AND SECURELY.

Daylight Duo Pro light.
Arrived a day early. Light as described, very easy to assemble. Just what I wanted, good height when sitting a chair to read and looks neat and stylish. Thank you.

Definitely worth having!
After reading the reviews I was prepared to be very impressed with this item and on receipt and trying it out, I was, frankly, not exactly blown away. It is, to be fair, nothing like as bright as I was led to believe! But... I'm not entirely unhappy with it. Versatile, good adjustments in positioning, I like the 4 brightness settings, brilliant for just popping on a shelf or to clip on top of an easel. Really nicely made - feels like a quality item, everything fits well and works properly. My only other gripe would be that I can't rotate the lights to adjust the direction and shading, I have to bend the whole swan neck so that doesn't work well. However, when all's said and done, it's a useful thing to have around and I do use it so I won't be sending it back, but let's just say I won't be getting rid of my anglepoise with 1521 lumens (100 Watt equiv) LED bulb installed just yet...

Perfect Lighting for My Lash Table!
The light is bright and clear, providing excellent visibility for detailed work like lash extensions, eyebrows, and other salon tasks. It looks sleek and professional, and the flexible arm makes it easy to adjust the angle exactly where I need it. The brightness levels are a great feature, allowing me to customise the lighting for different tasks. It’s also energy-efficient and super easy to use, making it both practical and stylish. Highly recommend this lamp for anyone in the beauty industry!

So good I bought a second one
After recently setting up a work area for painting and building models I was searching for a versatile daylight lamp that allowed me to paint in any weather or at any time that the modelling fancy took me. I already had an old daylight lamp and magnifier combination but wanted something with great adjustment for the various projects I work on. I bought one of these and attached it to the backboard of my modelling organiser setup. I was so impressed by the lamps dual strip lights, versatile and adjustable support arm, four levels of brightness and the sheer clarity and quality of the light that I ordered a second one. I don't think I can endorse a product more strongly than saying that it was so good a bought a second one. That's not to say that one isn't enough to light my work area, quite the opposite. The quality and brightness of the dual lamps on this product showed the inadequate lighting across my whole work area, so the solution was to double down and have the same excellent quality working conditions wherever I was working.

Too many design flaws I'm afraid. It's going back.
The model I purchased was the floor standing lamp. There are 4 dimmer levels and each strip can be independently dimmed. The dim level of each is set by tapping the end of the light. To turn off the light, if both strips are full-on, you'll need to tap each strip 4 times - that's 8 taps to turn off the light!! Seriously?! When both are dimmed, at any brightness combination except when either is full-on - there is flicker between the strips clearly visible when the strips are set a little way apart. (see note 1 below). The dimmer is activated by tapping the end of a strip. This causes the lamp to wobble for about 20 seconds (yes I timed it from a gentle press). That's unacceptable. Too many design flaws I'm afraid for a £56 lamp! I'm boxing it up and sending it back. If the lamp had a simple on/off switch (both strips on/off at the same time, no dimmer) and it didn't wobble, then i'd keep it, but at this price I will be picky and quite rightly too. -- NOTE 1: Flicker is visible because the lights are designed with independent PWM dimming inside each strip. When more than one PWM dimmed light is in close proximity to another, visible flicker will always be evident as the on/off duty cycle of the lights will not be synchronised. The correct way to do this is the slightly more expensive "constant-current" dimming method - they tried to save a few £££ in the design stage with PWM which will always fail and hoped no-one would notice...

Great unique and handy artist lamp
After reading several reviews I thought I would add one after purchase. After 3 months use I can recomend this product, made well, really like the clamp and ease of use. You can easily attach it onto a table or easel. Great light coverage, superb split lamp eliminates that annoying shadow effect of your normal angle-poise lamp. I use it for a A1 drawing board and a portable easel. If you are looking for lighting for a wider, larger lighting area suitable for studio easel, this wouldn't cover say a 30x40 canvas as the goose neck k is too short to adjust. I purchased two and find if you do require extra light coverage, I can attach both at each corner. Mains powered without that annoying power brick, cool in use and ecnomical for long use . I see this company is about to release a wider range of artist lights, so one to watch as prices for these things have always been crazy.

A staple!
My old one broke and I bought the exact same one. I was bending this thing daily for 4 years so I definitely got my moneys worth.

unable to turn on as wrong adaptor
lamp cannot be plugged in as has a english adapter instead of an Australian one.
