Great Replacement for Meat in Lots of Dishes
Really good! The price and quality of the product is better than another brand I used. I have used it to make barbecue "chicken" sandwiches, for "chicken" stew and in soups that normally use chicken. Very good taste. No strange underlying flavor and the texture is very much like chicken or other meat. Per the label, it has 12 grams of protein for each 30 gram serving. Very easy to prep for use. I definitely recommend this product.

Okay for braising.
The media could not be loaded. The pieces were not as large and thick filled with fibrous soy as I thought. It’s smaller and thinner. I hydrated, seasoned, breaded, and fried them. It tasted like the crust (breading) or the skin of chicken rather than eating fibrous meat (like fibrous seitan would be). This product may be better for braised vegan chicken dishes like for stir fry or soups.

Absolute BEST dried soy strips
Absolute best dried soy strips I've ever had. NO weird aftertaste. I reconstitute 10 minutes in boiling water heavily flavored with chicken bouillon. Even the remaining liquid is delicious. These soy strips look and have both TEXTURE and taste that is excellent. After my first bite I couldn't stop having "just one more".Especially important to me is the ingredient list: Soy flour and water.I can use it in all my "chik'n" dishes (or keep snacking because they're that good). I imagine that by changing the broth I reconstitute them in to a beefier bouillon, I could easily make them taste like THAT. Versatility plus long shelf-life and excellent price point -- What's not to love?Not a paid endorsement - just a very happy customer.
