This is the second of this YoYo we've had because I didn't read the instructions on the first and ended up losing one of the washers so it didn't stay vertical which made it hard to return to hand. Having read the instructions and realising you don't need to take it apart to add the string made it much easier so I appreciate that they do include different coloured strings so you can customise it. We haven't really ventured into anything other than returning it to hand and walking the dog but it works really well for a beginner yoyo and having bought a yoyo a long time ago as a gift, this one is definitely much better quality and feels a lot more robust for it having been hit on the ground a few times.

For £9 I was expecting a premium quality heavy yoyo but this wasn't any more special than a 50p yoyo that I bought from Primark.If anything the Primark one had LED and the feedback from it was much better than this one.

Despite being 49 in a months time I'm having a ball with this. I used to love a yoyo when I was a kid, and my trusty Duncan branded one was never far away from me in the 80s at school.This is a responsive yoyo, so ideal for people starting out. This means when you throw it and it's spinning at the end of the string you can yank the string and it will return to you. This allow for less tricks than a responsive yoyo but it's better for kids and beginners, and like me you'll probably eventually want to get one of each type.The glove is a bit of a gimmick for me, but the bag and spare strings are nice. A very decent kit for someone who wants to get into yoyo-ing.

String is nasty. Rebound is shockingly bad and if wound in the wrong direction, yo-yo comes apart. Expensive for something so cheap n nasty

This just isn’t a very good yo-yo. It’s cheap plastic and the yo yo don’t return up the string reliably. I bought 2 for a 6 and 8yr old but even as adults we couldn’t get it working reliably. The glove is a bit of a waste of money as a beginner doesn’t need a glove. Regret not spending a few pounds more for a better one.

Great quality and value responsive yo-yo with strings and instructions to get you going. Plenty of great tutorials to learn your first tricks on YouTube. I am having great fun learning the yo-yo and a few friends have got theirs out of storage too! This yo-yo is very responsive and a good choice for beginners.
