Perfect for Trout
This folding fishing net is a game-changer for any angler who loves convenience without compromising on performance. It’s compact and lightweight, folding down to a size that easily fits into any tackle box or backpack. Setting it up is a breeze – just unfold and lock into place, and you’re ready to catch some fish! What I love most is the design. The net is made of durable materials that hold up well to fish wriggling and water exposure. The mesh is fine enough to safely handle even small catches without tangling or harming the fish. Plus, the handle is ergonomic and comfortable to grip, making it easy to maneuver in the water.

Compact and Quality Landing Net
I wanted a small landing net for fly fishing but didn't want to spend the money for an expensive one. This one is reasonably priced and folds compactly for storage. When you snap it into place (yes, it's that easy), the net is strong and the frame is sturdy. This will make a great addition to my fly fishing rig.I was concerned that this net would not be very sturdy but I was wrong. It is quite sturdy and does a good job.

Nice folding net
I picked this up for an upcoming road trip that I will be doing a lot of fishing on. I needed something that didn't take up a lot of space but still was sturdy enough to land some saltwater fish like sheepshead and redfish. So far, this net seems like it will handle the job. I don't think it would make a good everyday net but for traveling it will do fine. The handle is very sturdy, mostly aluminum with some heavy duty plastic clamps where to allow for telescoping. The sides of the net are aluminum as well with a rope in between on the front of the net to act as the frame. It makes sense with it needing to fold but it does make it just a little harder to scoop fish. The only worry I have is that it has a similar latch mechanism in the center that other nets like have. It's to allow it to fold up, but the whole thing is plastic. It latches well and feels sturdy, but I've had that part break on my other nets. This one does feel sturdier than the other two I've had so I think as long as I don't try to lift anything really heavy up and keep the net vertical when lifting it should last.

Not for a fun kid beach day
If you’re a major fisherman- which I’m not- maybe this is good? I just wanted my kids to use it at the beach finding sand crabs or some small fish but it’s HUGE. Way to cumbersome for tweens to use casually at the surf at the beach

Sturdy
This net folds relatively small, making it easy and comfortable to attach to a backpack and haul around. It folds open securely, so I trust it to help me land the fish instead of losing it.

Excellent fishing net with some great features
LLCJYYCY Folding Fishing Net with Telescoping PoleMy old fishing net lasted quite a long time but it took a beating over the years from the elements. So now it’s time for a new fishing net, which happens to be the LLCJYYCY folding fishing net. I really like this net a lot because it's compact, light weight, nicely designed & constructed and it’s telescoping, which my other net was not. I took it fishing with me recently and it performed nicely. The fact that it extends to a few adjustable lengths is fantastic and being able to fold it up for transport and storage is a great feature. I’m quite happy with it and if it lasts as many years as my old net I will be super psyched.

Decent Quality/ Good Price
A $23 the collapsible fishing net is a good value. It is made of decent material and the clips seem robust enough to last a good while. The ad is very accurate detailing what the product is and the size of the net. When they say 40" that is the circumference of the net not side to side. It is shorter that a non collapsible net but this thing fits in my fishing backpack and that is important for me to free up my hands. I think it will hold almost any pan fish, bass, crappie or fresh water catfish you will catch from the bank or a boat dock. Walleye sauger, salmon, river cats or big carps will be pushing its limits. I am very happy with the size, the functions and the quality of the product.

Compact but effective net...
This fishing net is very compact once folded and stored making it easy to carry in a pocket or strap to your fishing vest - it's the size of a compact umbrella. Once opened and extended, the net can capture and hold a sizeable fish or object - probably around a 15" or so without worry. The construction does allow this unit to float on the water and the materials are quick to dry if dropped into the water. The only real issue is if you are using a spinner or hook that has more than one hook, the net can get caught by a hook and make it a little more of a challenge to removed the fish.
