Great compact binoculars
Perfect, small, light with decent optics and clever eyepiece focus system. Would recommend to anyone looking for good value pocket binoculars.

Good value, but don't expect miracles
Compared to the sub £25 pocket binoculars you buy when you don't know any better these are a revelation. Optical and build quality are on a different level, with a sharper, brighter image and features like twist up eyecups and stay on lens covers (both objective and ocular). They are supplied with a slim neck strap (fine for their weight) and a decent soft case (velcro fastened flap, shoulder strap, no belt loop).Their lowly position in Opticron's range shows in a couple of places; the eyecups can easily be pushed back in unintentionally, the focus wheel is a bit stiff and the unfocussed area around the edge of the field of view is quite large and obvious. If you must have compact binoculars, won't use them much and can't spend more you could be quite happy with these. On the other hand you can get better performance from less compact porro prism designs at a similar price or spend more to get an all round better product.

Backpack binos
Light compact solid. Ok in bright conditions but lacking otherwise and this is the 8x25. Close focus to 8ft. Overpriced and not much better than budget models.

Opticron quality
For the money you can’t get better travel binoculars. Well made, crisp image. Ideal for travel.

Love em!
They’re exactly what you’d expect for a small compact pair of binos. We have also bought a larger heavier pair for when you don’t want to carry them. They are a great mid range, you can of course spend way more on other brands, and presumably get better quality. We are not critical or specific users, so delighted with them

Very Good Value Binoculars
Well made, good optics, very compact and lightweight binoculars that easily fit in a jacket or coat pocket. Good eye relief so using with glasses is no problem and they can be used one handed. All of which is just what I was looking for. At £55 what's not to like.

Light and Bright
Great image quality, easily adjusted to get good fit and come with good quality case. They feel well made, though the retractable eye-cups are looser than I would like. Overall very happy with these.

positive first impression
I have old 7x21 Olympus binoculars which were gifted to me but I wanted a higher magnification. I decided on these 10 X 25 Opticrom based on independent reviews and they were on several birding sites. First impressions are good. They are light weight with attached flip rubber lens covers and a plastic cap for the other end. This feeds through the strap so you don't lose it. The plastic eye cups twist which means you have more than just 2 positions but I don't find them as comfy against my eyes as the rubber versions. I experienced some blue glare but I think that was because I wasn't positioning them correctly at first. Compared to my old pair, the image is clearer and whiter (old pair was really yellowed). It came with a lightly padded case with inch wide strap. The binoculars strap is thin 1cm and not comfortable. The case strap is nicer so I've been putting that around my neck. I'm only an occasional user but so far I've found the higher magnification is worth the reduced field of vision. The central focus is difficult to turn with one finger as it's really stiff, so I need to use thumb and finger but that's better than being loose and losing focus. I recommend them for occasional watchers like myself.
