I love Sandra Orchard's novels. This one is a change from her light cozy mysteries but is equally an intriguing Christian mystery.American Veterinarian Dr. Harriett Bailey has inherited her grandfather's practice in North Yorkshire, England. Will the local farmers trust her to look after their livestock? Can she break through the 'old boys network'?The 'locals' have some loveable characters to connect with as we see their interactions with this young female vet. A pleasant read. This series featured different writers for each novel.
