Warrants top 100
Well made product, starting with packaging. Built in grinder works great and is NOT loud. User friendly but you will have to read the manual. Coffee comes out hot and stays hot for up to 2 hours. EASY to clean.

Best Option for Grind and Brew
My Krups grind and brew with large hopper broke after 12 years of use. Thinking I’d be getting an upgrade with the latest Krups model I was disappointed in the downgrade in quality of newer generations. Worse, like nearly all modern grind and brew coffee makers of any make, the hopper was limited to 1 pot worth of beans. And because the hopper is internal/under the lid, steam creates a mess of the coffee dust left behind in the hopper, requiring a daily ritual to clean and dry the hopper pieces. When this Krups model broke after only 1 year of use I set out to find a replacement that met all my needs. After searching Amazon and the internet at large, I could only find 3 brands that manufactured a grind and brew coffee maker with large hoppers. All but 1 were between $200 and $350 but with poor ratings and reviews. The Gavi grind and brew stood out as an affordable option that checked all the boxes. With no reviews to go on and a 4+ star rating, I gave this product a shot. Glad I did as this coffee maker has brewed very good coffee for over a month now. A big bonus vs. my old Krups machine: instead of using a large clockwork contraption over the basket that rotates from allowing coffee to flow in to closed position, this Gavi coffee maker uses a minimal open/close mechanism that has not clogged up once. This was a constant problem with the Krups machine requiring parts of it to be opened up for weekly clean out of built up coffee dust. This is a buy in my book.

Best Coffee Maker with Grinder for Me
This is my third coffee maker with grinder and my favorite thus far. My first was a Gourmia Grind and Brew and I would rank second best. It kept my coffee hot, was easy to clean, and allowed me to alternate roasts of coffee. However its design let grounds get into the pot, and I was drawn to the Breville Grind and Brew. I have a separate review there. Suffice it to say I returned the product. As for the Gevi Drip Coffee Maker with Grinder, the design of the burr grinder and bin allows me to measure the roast of beans I want for that pot without dealing with beans left from the previous pot. It's the easiest to clean of the three I've owned. It allows me all of the flexibility I want without paying for features and functionality that don't live up to their potential. While the heating plate isn't as effective as the Gourmia, it is much more effective than the thermal carafe of the Breville.Yes, the clock is 24 hour rather than 12 am/pm. However, with the microwave, stove, and other devices, the coffee pot is the last device I turn to for the time! And it has no impact on setting the brew timer, which I don't use.In my judgment, this coffee maker is a very good value.

Okay Coffee Maker
This is actually the second Gevi 10-cup coffee maker I bought. The first one worked fine and lasted 5 years, until the drawer to retrieve the coffee ground wouldn't close anymore. I am satisfied that it lasted a decent amount of time with daily use so I replaced the coffee maker with the exact same model. I would rate my first one a five star and this new one a four star. I will explain why I am taking a star off the new one. Both versions of the coffee maker make decent coffee. There are a couple of changes in the new coffee maker that I really dislike. First, the calibration of the coffee ground seems off for the new one. I usually make 4 cups of coffee every morning and for my old coffee maker, setting the amount of ground to 4 cups give me the right coffee strength. For this new coffee maker, setting to 4 cups will give me way more ground coffee and makes the coffee strenght overpowering. I have to dial the coffee ground down to 2 cups and the lightest strength. Second, I used to be able to just fill up the reservoir up to 10 cups, and the coffee maker will know that if I ask for 4 cups, it will use 4 cups of water even if there are more water in reservoir. But now it will use up all the water in the reservoir so you have to measure the water exactly. These are minor annoyances causing me to take out a star. Otherwise, it is still a decent coffee maker.

Works and does what you need it to do.
Does what I need it to do. Hasn’t failed on me yet. Grinds up the beans and makes good coffee. Brews already grinded beans also. No complaints really.

Good coffee
Bottom line, this machine makes good coffee. The grinder works well, the instructions are simple and easy to understand. The aroma of the coffee is wonderful and tastes just as good. The reusable filter is nice and I haven’t had any grounds in my coffee. The only negatives I have are the machine materials feel very cheap. The buttons feel very cheap, like they could fall off any moment. Most of the material feels like cheap plastics.Again, this machine does well, it makes a great cup of coffee and bottom line, that’s the important part. Good value for the cost.Edit 2/22/25I’m removing another 2 stars from my review. This thing just completely eats through beans. 1 bag of beans lasts maybe 2-3 days. I’ve found the knob controlling ground coarseness doesn’t do anything. Choosing the amount of beans to grind is also seems kind of pointless. Beans for 2 cups barely covers the bottom of the filter, 4 cups fills it almost to the top (wasting a lot of beans).I will likely move on from this unit which is a shame because it does make good coffee at times and I love the idea of having a grinder attached.Update 5/3/2025Threw coffee maker away. The pot actually broke with normal use, leaking hot coffee every where.

Works well so far
This is one of the lower priced coffee makers that has a burr grinder. It is pretty easy to use and we have not had any problems so far, after using it for several months. It is slightly less noisy when grinding than other coffee makers we have had. Some functions, like resetting the descaling warning, requires you to look in the manual. But most regular functions are easy to do. The manual is pretty good.

Good Grind and Brew
Takes a few times to learn all the vontrold, but grinds and brew well with adjustable strength brews, and had a large bean hopper.
