Very good sound, very happy with the purchase
I have a variety of small speakers, including the Kinivo and Monster Clarity. I have to say I was quite impressed with the sound from these, easily as good or better than a pair of the Kinivo's. The monster has good bass but both these and the kinivo do better on the high notes. That you get two for the cost of a kinivo and 1/4 the price of the monster is a big plus.No bluetooth and no microphone like the monster has, but the microphone on most bluetooth small speakers is usually lousy,These have little magnets in the base that let you stick them together and drop them into their bag. Both have a power switch and both have a 3.5mm plug so you could add two more speakers to it. If you bought two of these kits, you could have quad speakers but you'd have to buy the 3.5mm to 3.5mm male cables. There is a volume control inline with the dual end 3.5mm sound and usb power cable.Only downside to these vs the kinivo and monster speakers is that you can't charge and use at the same time. For starters the end that has the 3.5mm/full size usb charging plug has the two plugs just a few inches apart, and the speakers buzzed/hummed and didn't make good sound when I had the usb charging end plugged in.The supplied charging/sound cable also doesn't have a lot of room to space the two speakers apart...maybe 3-4 inches. But you could use the supplied cable to connect to the first speaker and a separate 3.5mm male to male cable to the daisy chain port. Its not a huge deal, but having them a foot or so apart would improve the spatiality.Since I got these for about half cost through the amazon warehouse, I'm THRILLED with the purchase. Still a great deal at the regular price.

Nice for the size.
Not the greatest sounding speakers by any means. They lack volume and bass but for the application I think they do the trick. Much better sound than built in laptop or notepad speakers and easy to carry around and set up. They look very nice too and for gadget freaks they compress down into an egg-like shape for storage and transportation; kind of a nifty gadget where you almost want to mess with them or set them up just to allow them to get the attention of others are around you. They are easy to charge, hold a charge a long time and compliment my vast array of speakers and sound devices.Pros:1.) Small, compact2.) Attractive3.) Sound quality is fair for the size4.) Fun to set up5.) Vibrant colors6.) Easy to store and transportCons1.) Lack bass2.) Lack volume3.) You can't entertain a large room of people (joking ...they're not designed for that:)

Meh, not loud enough
Cannot charge them while using them without and annoying whine. I use these in the car and they are just barely loud enough to hear a podcast while I'm on the freeway.
