Good value cover with the discount. Works on a Coleman Powermate 6250/5000 watt Subaru gen. It should perform well in hurricane winds since there are many ways to fasten & secure the cover to the frame. Air intake/exhaust & cord access should operate well. Assembly: I laid out the parts in groups on folding table & followed the cartoons in the manual.One issue is the tubes can't be fully inserted into the plastic holders owing to the paint drips on the end of the tubes. I used a wood block and a hammer to drive the tube into the plastic connector. Making sure the segments are equal lengths facilitate the assembly. A consideration is to provide 2 zippers at the top of the black cover would ease access to the gas cap. Refueling can be achieved by only having to undo 1-half of the cover. In summary, it is a good cover, well designed overall, and should perform well in a tropical storm/hurricane.

When I opened the box it had parts packages open and was missing parts. The cover can not be put together. Very disappointed!

So, its a pain to put together..... if youre like me & think youre too smart to read the instructions, until you arent. I have a WEN 13000w and this fits it fine. I dont have to proect it from rain/weather since I have it bolted down outside the barn under the port, and underground cable to house. I got this to get the dust buildup off it. Everytime I put gas in, I have to clean the thick layer off before opening the cap. You dont want any of that falling into the tank.So I cleaned it nice and purty again, then put this on it. Now its protected from dirt buildup on top that could fall into tank. Im sorry this review isnt more spectacular, like protecting my genny from hurricanes, tornados, and evil witches.... but thats my story and Im sticking to it :-)

Recently purchased a generator due to power being knocked out by storms. Since it has to operate away from the house, I noticed it was getting very hot in the sun. Wanted something to protect it from the elements. This cover has a metal frame that sits on top of the generator and the cover lays on top of that. The cover itself is thick seems durable and will provide cover from the sun and rain. It took me about 15 minutes to put together and install. It has zippers at the corners and the sides roll up with buckles to keep it open. You can run it with the cover on just make sure you have the sides open. The clear rectangular section on the side opens with zippers to allow you to connect to the outlets and use the controls. This product exceeded my expectations. 6500 Watt Champion Generator.

I put it on my generator which is 12000 watts peak 10500 rms if I'm not mistaken. It was a tight fit but it fits great after getting it on. The quality of material is definitely water proof. My old cover which is just 6 months old, held water which I would have to dump off. This one comes with an elevated middle making it like a roof and the water runs off. This is well made and I am happy I got this. The other cover cost less but it didn't protect my generator like this one. It unzips and you can run the generator with it on so rain or snow it's not a problem. It was easy to put together. I'm very happy with this cover. Makes the other cover look like crap which it was. Sometimes the extra dollars are worth it.

You have to put a frame together, it's easy, just follow instructions and use the right pieces. The material itself is heavy duty and good quality. It covers my Simpson 9300 generator perfectly to keep it waterproof and out of the elements. It has a window and flaps to open up for convenience. I am very happy with this product and believe the price is very reasonable.
