Inverness Ear Piercing Instrument works with all Inverness earrings and ONLY Inverness earrings. That said, the Inverness Ear Piercing System is designed to pierce the earlobe and the outer cartilage of the ear. Ivnerness system should never be used to pierce any other body parts.

Q: Does the gun get jambed

I only did my daughter's ears last year and it didn't jamb. There was a trick to it if it did get jammed the lady at Walmart told me but I don't remember what that was.

Q: Is this a spring loaded gun?

No, this is a piercing gun for Inverness piercing earrings that are packaged in sterilized cartridges that are specifically designed for this instrument. Marking pen is included with the purchase of this instrument

Q: Where is this gun made? And what are the requirements for using it with studs other than the ones you sell?

I used this with recomended studs but from another seller along with buying gun yhroughamazon. I am a OCD nurse and pierced my own kiddos ears. This along with antiseptic products purchased through amazon(per filled tips and spray). No problem and perfectly placed and hygienic piercing in my own home. Love amazon!
