Better than the Dewalt cordless chainsaws
I love my Dewalt shop tools, but their outdoor products are, IME, B grade (wobbly extension joints, in the case of pole saws). Dewalt does not make a 20V cordless chainsaw with a 16" bar, so Dewalt doesn't get to the starting gate in the 20V 16" bar cordless market. Based on the reviews here, I bought the 16" ReliaRoads and am 100% satisfied. Yes, it's heavy with two 6Ah 20V batteries loaded, but I gladly accept that rather than starting a 60V battery collection for a Dewalt's 16" saw. A pair of 2 Dewalt XR 6Ah batteries lasts a good half day of felling and bucking. I give it the ReliaRoads chainsaw a B+... my Milwaukee M18 cordless chainsaws get an A+. (Yes, I'm married to both battery systems ... there are more clones for yellow than for red.)The weakest "link" in ReliaRoads saw is the bar... a bad pinch, like when finishing a back cut and the tree sits on the bar, and the edge of the bar will bend when an Oregon bar usually will not. So, plan on a replacement bar sooner or later, like the Savior kit, B0DHZKQ77S, which includes 3 saw chains (.043 gauge. 56 or 57 links, 3/8" pitch) and a scabbard, or the Oregon kit, B0BGJMG88R (bar and 1 saw chain, no scabbard). Replacement bars and chains are inevitable, so no stars off.

Very good tool, well made
Purchased to remove and cut into 2' pieces a 10-12" diameter 20' healthy White Ash branch. This saw sailed through it with ease and without needing to replace batteries. Excellent design, easy to clean and maintain. I have a DeWalt 8" battery chain saw and an 8" pole saw; set up and maintenance is on this is just as easy. Tension adjustment is a little different but good. Like any chain saw, keeping it clean, well maintained and proper chain tension is the magic.

Not working
Died after few months of using it not even that heavy use but I finally got ahold of someone to help me with it and the issue was resolved.

Excellent Design, Great Power, Light, Easy to adjust.
YES YES YES. Powerful, works long time with the deWalt batteries, very easy to adjust tension of chain. Cuts through trees like they are melted butter ... I had spent a day with my gas chain saw cutting down a massive tree with FIVE main sections, each a major tree... The gas saw had to be relubricated three times and gas three times replaced. This electric was much much much faster. It is lighter. It is QUIET. Easy to use. The adjuster for tension is to loosen a large but easy to use loosener, then a roller to tense, then easy to re tighten. Love it. Would buy it again even if it does not last forever. Cannot say enough about it. I used it all day yesterday, using two batteries while two were recharging.

I love finding me a sweet deal.
Great bang for the buck. Plenty strong. Does require a bunch of power, but that's ok as I have plenty spares to charge while using others. 100% recommend. The chain stayed sharp too after a ton of use. I used this to clean up 6 individual 12"-14" thick fallen trees from base to top from a hurricane in Florida. Cuts fast, but again sucks a lot of battery power. If you have small to medium jobs and/or can spread the work over a couple of days, then this is a no brainer. Otherwise, if you want to do a large job continuously without any down time for charging, then go with a gas saw instead. But, this electric one chops with the best of them.

Exceeded Expectations
The media could not be loaded. I was very impressed with this saw. Due to an injury on my arm, I struggle with starting the gas powered saws.I have an Electric 12" that I use for my Side x Side trips, that works well but wanting something with a bigger stronger cut. This weekend, we had local storms with a lot of trees down. I was able to make about 40 cuts on 4",6", and 8" limbs on the ground an under weight load. This saw performed much better than expected. On the eight inch limbs, which were under excessive sideload. I did throw the chain two times, it immediately stopped, and I was able to put it on very quickly, with the no tool tighten system. Please note throwing the chain was more operator/situational error. No fault of the saw. I included a video showing me cutting through a 6" locus limb , which is extremely hard to begin with. (Phone was in breast pocket Iwas using both hands cutting this limb)Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. And may purchase a second one for my truck.Another notable item as I was also using aftermarket, dewalt batteries on this.
