This product is great. The texture is not sticky or anything like a typical gloss or balm. Although it is white, it doesn't look that way on. Plus, it tastes great in a subtle way.

It smells nice and is easy to apply—smooth without being sticky. Once it soaks in, you can sorta still feel it on your lips if you press them together, but it’s a thin layer.With the colder, windier weather, this lip milk has done a pretty good job at fighting the wind and dry indoor heating. Much better than petroleum jelly which can transfer easily and isn’t a great option in windy or dusty conditions. I usually cut back on lip color in the winter because it can make dryness and cracks more obvious; however, I’ve been able to keep wearing them when I’d like.I’ve also been applying it before bed under my lip mask and my lips are much softer and less dry in the morning, so my colored glosses and lipsticks/stains have looked so much better.The only real downside is that the bottle is small. A little goes a long way, but I’m not sure this one bottle will last me throughout the winter. I use it with another lip moisturizer and this combo has helped give me softer lips for longer, and I don’t need to use them as often as I was using my moisturizer on its own.

There's a lot to like about this. I will say, I've used one other 'lip milk' and now I understand their purpose, but for those who are new to them, they are like a lip serum/primer meant to instantly add hydration to the lips. They work best underneath a regular lip balm, lip oil, lipstick, really any kind of lip product. When used this way, you really make the most of their potential and will be more pleased with them.I really like the liquidy, milky-lotion type consistency as it absorbs into my lips really easily and hydrates them within a few seconds. It goes from being dry and chapped to soft, hydrated and plump. Once it absorbs it doesn't feel like there's anything on the lips. My partner loves this as they hate when I wear any lip product that he can feel. It has a natural finish with little taste once it sinks in. The bad, if used alone, the hydration does not last. Especially with drinking or eating, it would need to be reapplied so much more and with the amount you get, it will not last long. I've personally adapted to using this before my lip balm and I'm converted since I hardly get super chapped lips anymore. I do also get that most people wouldn't want to use two products vs one. If that's something you wouldn't mind and are looking for that instant hydration, I highly recommend this! Bonus, it smells and tastes like sweet raspberries!

You know those little products in your life where it's like maybe you don't necessarily need it, but it just gives you a spark of joy when you use them? This is 100% one of those products for me. It's just a pleasure to use every time and injects a tiny moment of joy into my evening care routine.The fresh, realistic raspberry smell is uplifting without being overpowering. I am very sensitive to scents (almost everything I use is unscented, because fragrance gives me headaches), and this is mild, realistic, and pleasing. The scent fades quickly and does not overpower. Just a lovely bright burst of raspberry.The texture - fantastic. I haven't encountered a lip product like this before and I was surprised by how much I love it. It's creamy, smooth, somehow thick and yet lightweight, and quickly sinks into the lips. If you have sensory issues with lip products feeling too sticky, waxy, etc. - this is the product for you. It melts into the lips and soon feels like nothing at all, just a light veil of moisture that sinks in like a very lightweight lotion.Now, they recommend using this as 'the first step' in your lipcare routine, and applying something heavier on top after to lock in the moisture. Similar to slugging. I use it at night and apply lanolips after (a lanolin based lip product), and in the morning my lips feel so soft and smooth.The first time I tried this product was after coming back from a few days of work in the desert. My lips were red and raw, chapped and peeling. The desert had done a number on me. Typically, it would take several days of applying balm throughout the day and before bed to deal with the pain and peeling. But after 2 consecutive nights of using this+lanolips, it was like I'd never been in the desert at all. I didn't even need to apply chapstick during the day!

Packaging wise, this is a very attractive lip product - it has a good weight and the frosted bottle gives it a slightly futuristic/modernist appearance. However, the product inside did not work for me, and after a while, the raspberry/fruity scent and taste became cloying. I did not see a major difference in my lips after using this every day, and I found when my lips were majorly chapped, it did nothing but sit on top of the flakes. It worked better when my lips were already smooth. The two stars are for the good design, but I wished the product had worked for me. I would not repurchase.

This lip milk is like a toner but for your mouth. It smells like raspberry but has a weird taste so don't lick your lips. After washing your face, apply this as the last step in your skincare routine. I'll cover it with a thick balm once absorbed into my lips.This isn't a lip primer or a lip balm itself. To expect it to be anything else is silly so read the directions. :) I notice this tingles strongly and can be unpleasant for some so please patch test. It does a very good job of softening my lops if I add a thick balm on top at night because my mouth will look all plump and pouty in the morning.I only recommend you get this if you intend to use it correctly. I like this a lot and hope to see other scents.
