Works great phone can now run Android Auto wirelessly!

After having no luck with 3 other units I was skeptical about this one. But "dbrain78" had the same car I do so I thought there was hope. And guess what? So far it works flawlessly.I did have to download a firmware update, but that is to be expected. Now that I am current I'm having no problems so far.I'll update if I run into issues.

For a while I was looking for an Android Wireless adapter that is confirmed to work with no issues and is compact enough that it won't look like a complete afterthought. Unfortunately that is not it, despite most positive reviews, personally I have issues that are preventing me from giving this one a total recommendation, obviously there are positives to be mentioned as well, but also some noticeable negatives too, but before that a quick word about the packing and presentation. The adapter comes in a very simple no frills box that is pretty flimsy too, there is some information in the back regarding the product and images in the front to show how it looks so you know what to expect even before opening the box. Inside the box there is the adapter, small user manual and USB-A to USB-C adapter and a 90 degree USB-A to USB-A adapter.Positives:- It works out of the box, well most of the time - The adapter is very compact and can be connected to your car interface with almost plug and play situations, unfortunately there are a few things that are making the experience less pleasant. Connecting via Bluetooth is easy and quick, but the product information is stating wireless connection as well, personally I was not able to connect via that, which is a big let down, since the wireless connection is much faster than the BT connection. Now once connected the Android Auto interface gets displayed, and works, but for me (combination One Plus 11 Pro and 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe) it keeps randomly disconnecting, sometimes every 5 minutes or so and sometimes it works for over 15 minutes, so I can't really establish what is the root cause.- Small size - Now that would be great if your Android auto USB connector is somewhere hidden, let's say the arm rest, but in my situation the USB is exposed below the AC controls in the middle of the center console, so it is visible and sort of in a way. I was really hoping that I would finally be able to take advantage of my built-in wireless charging pad, with the constant disconnections, it's a no.- Not that expensive - Most of the competition is priced under the $50 mark, this one is around and below, depending on the different promotions.Negatives:- Probably you can get the impression what is the issue with the above details, but the main issue is the constant disconnects and sometimes struggles to connect. When using a cable my phone never disconnects from the car and always displays the interface, but with the adapter, it randomly disconnects with rime or reason why.- No easy way to connect just wirelessly via the 5ghz with the phone, only the BT connection works.Overall, the adapter has a lot of potential and maybe is working flawlessly with other cars and phones, but with my combination, it is not ideal.

Intente todo lo que dice el manual y hasta busque tutorial de Internet pues no hay contacto con el vendedor y no me funcionó. Lo estoy devolviendo muy decepcionada

I am very satisfied with this device . It works flawlessly and was easy to set up. It was economical with excellent value for the money. Buy it , you wont be disapointeed.

The first thing you'll probably want to do when you get this dongle is update the firmware to the latest version. Once you do, you'll find this dongle pretty reliable. Sometimes it will not connect but most of the time it's fine. Overall, it works well, and I really like the small form factor.
