It works.
It certainly is better than the cheaper options. I still think the price is way to high for what is essentially a piece of plastic.Yes it works, I used it with phone and binoculars of various kinds, some binoculars it's more difficult because of the way they are built for the unit to grip the binocular. It's not perfect but the best one I have come across.

Very useful piece of kit
It is a very useful device to enable you to attach your smartphone to a telescope, or one tube of a pair of binoculars.One side fits onto the phone. This is done by adjusting four grips simultaneously until the phone's camera lens is exactly in the middle of the aperture. This is what is a bit fiddly. When you have it right, you tighten a locking nut. You then mount the other side onto your telescope eyepiece. This is very easily done.My phone has a much better resolution (number of megapixels) than my elderly DSLR camera so by using the telescope's zoom function and the phone's zoom control, you get superb results. Hint: set the phone's camera for a 2-second delay to avoid camera-shake.

This is the best of the kit you can buy and if you want to take your digiscoping seriously get this!

Didn’t work for my iPhone 8.
I intended to use this with an iPhone 8 and Opticron scope. Sadly, I couldn’t get my phone securely mounted, it tended to rotate and therefore the camera would move out of orientation. As the aperture for the camera is fixed in the middle of the device, a camera like mine which has its camera at a top corner, the whole thing was lop-sided. It’s a beautifully engineered thing but I just couldn’t get it to work and returned for a refund.

Excellent mount for Digiscoping. Holds and iPhone 7 and Se 2020 ok. Won’t fit Swarovski lenses though.

I've used it a few times now fits secure on my scope while keeping my phone well attached it's expensive but we'll worth the money
