how far does the 'nose' extend past the hex piece on the coupler?

The needle extends about an inch and 1/2 past the hex.

When this is connected to the locknlube grease coupler does it leak?

Just like any grease fitting will leak a little it depends on the age and quality of the grease gun

will this work on mini grease fittings like on harbor freight angle die grinder?

The LockNLube Narrow Needle Dispenser is used by aiming the needle tip into the fitting you desire to grease and holding it in place

Maybe China? I am not sure. I use it about 3 times a week. It can be used to grease any type of fitting.

Makes Lube Life Easy

This is a must have along with the LockNLube coupler. It works very easy, it's effortless to press it into the zerk fitting and hold it there while lubing, and I use this exclusively on all u-joints, even if they're easily accessible with just the LockNLube coupler.

Perfect for hard to reach places

I had a couple zerks on my truck and on my tractor that were in such a tight space that a normal grease fitting was impossible to fit into. This got right in there and greased the zerks perfectly fine. It actually is less of a hassle and mess than the regular grease fitting other than having to hold it the whole time with one hand while working the grease gun with the other, I might try greasing regular zerks with this too!
